I start my training for JetBlue tomorrow!! I am so excited/nervous.. I get so nervous each time I begin a new job! But it will be exciting and in 4 weeks David and I will be able to fly for free πŸ™‚
Β I got a cognac scarf in New York like my junior year of high school.. I have unhung to it since then, unused. I took the tag off today when I decided to finally use it to make a turban! I know there are a ton of turban tying tutorials out there but if you guys want to know how I tied this let me know and I will make a tutorial for it!
I am also going to start showing you guys all the make up products I use in each outfit post starting with today’s! The links will all be at the bottom πŸ™‚
Β necklace: c/o Bip and Bop /Β pants: c/o Windsor / v neck: Nordstrom / jacket: Nordstrom / heels: ASOS / turban: H&M / sunglasses: D.I.
The make up I used for this look:

  1. I love high beam! These pictures are incredible – close up shots are wow – keep doing what you’re doing lovely!

  2. Just came across your site while looking for sunglasses. Love these! Do tell, please. Love your site very much. I could use some fashion help. Think I will stay posted.

  3. Stunningly beautiful! My little family is going on a Disney cruise soon and I am enjoying inspiration from your blog on what to pack!

What shade of the Revlon foundation do you use?

  4. Hey Amber,
I love how you’ve done your make up in this post. I just picked up a bottle of the High Beam highlighter. Whereabouts did you apply this, cheek and brow bones or do you have a secret trick?

    1. Thank you so much!! I just apply to my t zone and under my eyes!! xo

  5. Love this post about the turban and the post you did about how to tie one! I have been trying to figure it out for weeks, luckily I have you!

  6. I have followed you for a while now and have always noticed how beautiful you are, but that close up of you is just unreal…gorgeous girl and beautiful photography.
I love that you are adding the beauty section, I’ve been really interesting in using the high beam highlighted and hope you will do an application tutorial soon!

    1. agreed! I have high beam that I got in a little benefit kit but it looks too white/not right even when I apply just a little bit. Maybe my medium skin is too dark?

  7. You are just so very gorgeous! & your personality seems absolutely delightful as well! Congrats on the jetBlue job start…you will truly love it! I worked from home about 6 years ago & it was wonderful. The only thing crazy was when the shift bids would come out & those with seniority had better shifts…however, I was a mom with a toddler at the time…so now, it likely wouldnt be a big deal. & the free flights will rock! At the time, they only flew to NYC and Long Beach & getting on a flight was pretty rough at times with only one flight a day to each destination. So much has changed…time flies πŸ™‚ Enjoy your training at jetBlue U! πŸ™‚

  8. I like how you are including makeup used now! The close up of you with a good view of your makeup is gorgeous. High Beam is one of my spring time makeup essentials.

  12. I’d love a tutorial of how you tied the turban! I have so many scarves I never wear and if I could tie turbans maybe I would get more mileage out of them πŸ™‚ love the whole outfit!
