How To Style & Curl Short Hair
BY TAYLER MALOTT
Since cutting my hair short I have received several questions about how I style it and what products I use daily. Cutting my hair was a huge change for me but I have absolutely loved it! It had been so fun to learn how to style and curl it and today, I am going to share step by step how to do just that.
Before curling my hair, I start by blow drying it straight with a round brush and applying a small amount of rose oil to help smooth things out. I have very thick/ wavy hair and this helps tame with the frizz and natural craziness of my hair.
I begin by curling my hair with a 1.25 curling iron. This size is great for short lengths to allow the best curls possible. Taking one strand of hair I curl it outwards, leaving the ends of my hair out. I then take the next piece of my hair and curl it inwards, leaving the ends out as well. It is key to go back and forth with the direction you curl to achieve that tousled curl look.
I then use a teasing comb to lightly tease the ends to give it a little more body.
This look is super easy and chic! I hope you enjoy this post. If you have any questions about how I style this look, please let me know in the comments below.

I know I have explained it before but I wanted to just do it once more in case you missed it! Our BFB Two Piece is a set of two pieces/wefts for lengths as long as a lob and as short as a bob! They are seamless wefts that lay SO flat to your head, are so comfortable, and feel practically weightless.
