These pictures were taken in Croatia at Plitvice Lakes National Park and then some were in the small town of Slunj, Croatia! We did not luck out with weather, it was foggy, cold, and rainy but still SOO beautiful!! The water was so clear I couldn’t even imagine what it would look like in sunlight. In fact the water is so clear people were filling their water bottles up with the water!

David and I were deciding where we wanted to travel and were really leaning towards China but then he showed me a picture of Plitvice Lakes and I said thats it, Europe it is. I HAD to go there! David had already been a couple times while he lived in Croatia but it was my first time and I totally fell in love with everything about that country! Croatian food is my new favorite food and around every corner is something new and beautiful.

THIS TIME LAST YEAR

  1. Amber,
Would you consider making a post about your photography? For example, the “look” of these photographs and colors here, is this a setting on your camera or a filter/edit done in post?
I love your fashion and your photos!

  2. I have always wanted to go to Croatia and seeing your gorgeous photos solidifies a trip in the next year or so! Where was your accommodation if you don’t mind me asking?

Glad you had a wonderful time!

  3. Hi Amber, I’ve been to Plitvice Lakes in Croatia too! Isn’t it just the most fantastic place to walk for miles and the scenery absolutely stunning. Did you go on the boat on the lake? It was summer when I was there and the most glorious sunny day. Jennifer
