These pictures are from when we woke up early in Banff and headed up to Peyto Lake!! I had seen this view on the geo tag in Instagram but when we pulled up to the lookout it wasn’t this view so we had to do some hiking to find it but finally did and it was so worth it! This is also the day when we only had 42 frames on our camera because we forgot the SD card.

We brought our hammock from Anthropologie because this view + hammock was just TOO GOOD NOT TO! Anthropologie is having a huge sale the 19th-20th of this month, everything will be 20% off! I already have stuff in my cart and I am glad I held off on buying new bowls and cups because obviously can’t beat a good sale or their amazing prints. Our current bowls from Anthro we got as a wedding gift and I’m not kidding when I say we have dropped them (like counter to wood floor dropped) multiple times and they have not broken. It is like magic or something, I have no clue how they haven’t broken into a million pieces! They are the most sturdy lil things ever! So we are definitely stocking up on some new kitchen items, these pajamas, a new duvet, and some one pieces because heaven knows I have a swimsuit addiction.

Here are some of my favorites from Anthropologie..

*Thank you to Anthropologie for sponsoring this post

  5. I’ve never heard of Peyto Lake and it looks absolutely unreal. I am curious how you get there if you fly from Calgary, or drive…but will check it out as it looks like an amazing getaway! The hammock is KEY for that photo.

    Carly xo

    1. Thanks so much Carly!! You and your husband would LOVE it!! It is so beautiful!! The most popular viewpoint of the lake is from Bow Summit and you can drive most of the way up!! So from the parking lot, there is a 10-minute paved trail that leads uphill to a viewing platform with an absolute stunning view of the lake 🙂 For this specific view, we went exploring a little haha so I have no exact directions for it! xo

  18. Those photos are so incredible, it looks like you’re on a set! I would say that view is definitely worth the hike, although I can’t image that was so easy with your baby and a hammock in tow.
It’s so nice that it seemingly wasn’t too cold to be in lighter jackets and sweaters, and your braids look fab as always!
I shot you an email from my personal email, can’t wait to hear from you!

  23. The first and last pics are just breathtaking! I won an Anthropologie gift card the other day and can’t wait to go shopping with it. 🙂

  24. I love the corduroy jacket (lately I’ve been obsessed with anything camel colored), especially with the striped top! The views from these pictures are completely stunning, and if I was there with only 42 frames I don’t know what I would have done! So beautiful!

  25. Hi Amber! Regarding your post about the insensitive comments I just have to say this: you are one of the most gorgeous women I have ever seen, honestly! There is of course nothing wrong with being plus size but you definitely aren’t and I think it’s sad how people throw around the word “plus size” and “fat” as it’s the worst thing a woman can be. It’s possible to be fat and stunning! You on the other hand are a naturally slim woman and even when you’re pregnant you don’t look it besides the bump! Don’t pay those haters any attention, they are sad people who probably lead sad lives. Also, you are so much more than your looks! By following you it’s clear you’re a great mom, a great wife and someone who loves her family and friends and I don’t think there’s anything better than that! I wish you all the best 🙂 Lots of love!

    1. Thanks so much!! It’s so fun to have for traveling, I love it! Thanks for reading!! xo

    1. I know huh?! It was magical for sure!! And of course!! I hope you found some goodies!! xo

  26. The view looks beautiful!!! It looks like a post card or something, ha! 🙂 I hope you guys had fun! Thanks for letting us know about the sale. I’ve never shopped at Anthropology, but I have heard good things. I may have to check it out. 🙂
PS- Love the braids! (and the green Hunters)

    1. Thanks so much!! This was one of our favorite places for sure 🙂 Thanks for reading Danielle!! xo
