^^This is his face when he was crying and then got face tickles … instantly calms him and puts him in a trance haha but he looks literally passed out.0R2A2965 0R2A3028 0R2A3029 Barefoot BlondeBarefoot Blonde

We have been lounging and not cleaning and doing lots of cuddling over here! And why is life so much better when my bump is hanging out? I love when absolutely nothing is touching it. I feel like my stomach has reached max capacity and it is insane to think of my stomach getting bigger and bigger for the next 13 weeks!!!!! WHATTTTT. I am starting to get tiny stretch marks above my belly button.. luckily you can only see them in direct sunlight or that horrible light that no one likes to be naked in anyways (do you know what I am talking about?) so that is good ……… or at least I am telling myself that to make myself feel better. My belly button was the biggest thing that changed after having Atticus.. I cant even explain it but it was just stretched out and weird :/ but man those babies are worth all the stretched out weird belly buttons and all the other crazy stuff that happens. Teething is cruel but those cuddles are pretty awesome 🙂

I haven’t documented this pregnancy as much as my first because I felt like with all the “bump updates” I did last year it made my pregnancy go by soooooo slow!!!! I am still of course two weeks ahead in reading my weekly pregnancy updates on my pregnancy app (I get so excited to read them) but it has been nice having Atticus to distract me. Sometimes with taking so many pictures for the blog it makes you feel like your pregnancy is taking a million years and I am hoping these next 13 weeks go by somewhat fast because I am sooo freaking excitedddd!!! //// I am also soaking up every minute of giving ALL my attention to my boy. Two kids.. so weird that we will have TWO kids. Sometimes when we talk about future we will say “oh yeah we can just bring the kids” or something like that and it sounds so weird hearing that come out of my mouth .. PLURAL .. and they are MINE! So weird and so cool.

We don’t really have anything we need for her yet – I am such a procrastinator! We just have all the basic onesies and comfy clothes she will need for the first couple months but we are trying to figure out what kind of bassinet to use or if she will sleep with us like we did Atticus – who knows. We will probably end up ordering something a week before. I am not a planner and I need to be. This last week I booked tickets for us abroad somewhere and when David asked what time we arrive I realized I HAD NO IDEA!! I hadn’t even looked at the times when I booked them, I literally just thought “oh this would be fun” when I saw the killer deal for flights online and booked them! Didn’t even think twice or check times or anything. Who the freak does that? My stupidity sometimes shocks me.. // doesn’t shock me because I am used to it but you would think I would learn by now?!

Anywho, I haven’t typed without thinking on the blog in a LONG time and its late at night and just felt like typing – not even gonna read back over any of that because chances are I will delete 65% of it. GOODNIGHT friends!

  4. HI Amber,
I’m a11 weeks pregnant, though it’s my first time, and with twins. I’m not working out at all, afraid of the impact on the babies. Do you have any suggestions on what kind of exercises are safeto do while pregnant. And you say you have super

    1. Wide hips, but I can’t tell at all! You seem to be in great shape despite the pregnancy. Any suggestions would be of great help, especially for the hip zone.

    2. Ask your doctor…I am a runner and have been running through my pregnancies although slowing down the pace and mileage. I also haven’t been pregnant with twins so your situation might be different. They say if you were doing it before than it’s fine to continue. Walks always are a safe bet! Congrats

  5. Amber you’re like the sweetest mother ever! I love your blog, your baby, your family.. literally everything! Thanks for being such an inspiration and a goal !!!! Love you sooo much♥

  6. I was just having a terrible time with a very upset boy who while being extremely tired couldn’t go to sleep and remove ring this post I started tickling his face. He immediately calmed down and was asleep in 3 minutes!!!! Thank you gorgeous woman and soul mama

    1. No way?! That is so cute!! I swear it always works haha! Face tickles for the win!! Thanks for the sweet comment!! xo

  7. Xxoo’s to Baby A & Big Furry C… Sometimes due to time constraints I have no choice but to delete many emails from some of my favored blogs as I just have no time- BUT- I never, ever ever delete yours Amber. You have such an easy way of extending warmth, honesty and friendship. It may take me 2 weeks to catch up on what’s going on with you- but I’m here in the background loving the outfits, the pics & checking out YouTube when I can.

  8. I agree with everyone!! Love love love your realness and that you are willing to share that with your readers 🙂 love your blog!

  9. I love this post and I love how genuine you are! We all have those moments ha, or at least I do! You will love having a baby girl! They are so much fun 🙂

  10. I LOVED LOVED this post! Your blog is so fun to read, but this post was awesome not because it was a ramble but because it felt like a conversation you were having with all of us. Wishing you and your family many blessings from above.

  11. It’s soooo incredibly nice to hear you just ramble! That was something I used to love about your blog – the honesty and vulnerability! I still absolutely love your blog, just so nice to hear unfiltered writing. I wish more bloggers were like that. It seems like most fashion bloggers can’t be bothered writing out descriptions or answering comments (unless they’re negative, then all hell breaks lose). You are a breath of fresh air. THANK YOU!

  12. Hi Amber. I’m Eleonora from Italy. Thank you for responding to my comment. As a young mother I can recommend these products for stretch marks that I used during my pregnancy when I was waiting for my daughter Ginevra (now 10 months)
    1. BIO OIL: I used 2 times a day and you can find it online
I hope to be is you help, I’ve been lucky, I dont’have a single stretch mark!
    xoxo Eleonora

  13. Hey beauty! Can I ask where do you book your trips? I need ideas for good deals! 🙂

  14. These pictures are the best! so natural and in-the-moment! haha I’m totally the same, I wish I was a better planner, but sometimes my spontaneity gets the best of me! 🙂
    xoxo hails

  15. These are the best kind of blog posts! Honest and it feels like we’re friends ???? you rock a baby bump so well, you’re defiantly an inspiration to me when that time rolls around… I love all the photos of Attitus being super cuddly, it’s adorable!! ????

  16. I always love reading your updates! Such a cute family!! We are trying to figure out if we want to brave New York with a toddler because we use to come every year just for fun!! Do you book your tickets on a special website or just look up something like kayak and search places until you find a good deal?? Now that we have to pay for another ticket we try to find deals too!!

  17. Having two kiddos is totally an adjustment! Haha to say the least, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything! My favorite is watching my oldest, Titan, with his little bro. Makes all of the craziness so worth it! Kids are most certainly the best; being a momma is the best thing that’s ever happened to me!! You soak in those teething cuddles girl lol! We are going through that with our little Ranger boy right now too. Take care!!

    1. I agree!! It is so nice to not be so filtered 🙂 Thanks so much for reading Laura!! xo

    1. Thanks so much Erika!! And totally!! It will be so fun to look back at these 🙂 xo

  18. Amber,
Just gotta say: You are just so lovely in so many ways , and such a good example to other women…..thank-you for sharing your life , thoughts , family, fashion sense and hair tips, all while keeping it real and living life well.
    Bravo & Cheers !
    Ellen 🙂

    1. Wow thank you so much Ellen!! Those are such sweet and genuine compliments! I appreciate the love and support!! xoxo

  19. These pictures are the sweetest, I absolutely love the one where Atticus is sitting on your belly! I want to take a picture like that one day in the hopes it’ll look like yours 🙂

    1. Thanks so much Michaela!! You are so sweet!! I love that one too 🙂 And it totally will! xo

      1. Aww yes that one is the sweetest its so cute when he really hugs you 🙂 and aw thank you I so hope it does <3 XO

  20. The posts that you don’t proofread are some of my favorites. I love reading your blog. It’s always a nice distraction on my lunch break.

  21. Awww super cute! 🙂 How do you find such good flight deals! Im trying to find some decently priced flights to go on college visit
    Thanks so much xo:)

    1. Thanks so much!! And sometimes airlines will have sales going on or I use a website like Skyscanner where I can see what days/times are the cheapest to travel, what airline is cheapest, etc. I hope that helps!! xo

  22. AMBER I absolutely love you haha! This post is adorable and literally just made my day. TWO kiddos, that will be so fun. Atticus is going to have so much fun with sweet baby sister. And that is so funny, I think planning things when it comes to thinking of fun trip itineraries, talking about future plans is so fun.. until it actually come time to book something or buy something, then its last minute for us too! Well, this post is perfect.

    xoxo Angela

    1. You are the best!!! Thank you so much Angela!! I am so so happy you liked it! and ahh I know! I cannot wait for baby girl to come 🙂 So excited!! Oh and I am so not a planner haha I am glad I am not the only one ha! xo

  23. First of all, you are the cutest pregnant mom ever! I will never get over it. &Second of all, I am dying over the first picture of Atticus haha I feel so bad because I know you said he was crying, but it still makes me laugh a little because he does look knocked out. Please don’t think I’m a terrible person 😉

    1. Oh my goodness thank you Jany!! You could not be sweeter!! And haha!! I know huh?! He was like so dazed it was so funny/sad!!

  24. Hi Amber- I am new to your blog but I love it! Your style really speaks to me. ???? Anyway, I am using the Halo Bassinest Swivel Sleeper for my little girl who was born in May and we have all really loved it. Good luck with all of the baby prep! -Elyse

  25. I miss these posts!! I love when you just write and don’t worry about it and just say whatever is on your mind and stuff. If you want to do more like these more often I wouldn’t be mad haha these kind of posts just make me feel like you’re talking to me and we’re having a conversation (does that even make since??) anyways yaya baby girl and yay trip abroad even it it’s a redeye haha

  26. Love love love posts like these ones Amber! 🙂 So excited for your family to keep growing, you’re all so lovely.

    1. Thanks so much Sarah-Beth!! That means a lot to me 🙂 Thank you for the sweet comment!! xo

  27. Amber, I really enjoy your blog. You are too funny, it makes me laugh when I read blogs like this =]

  28. I love the conversational feel of your last post! You’re so funny about loving your belly out and about, you’re lucky to feel and look great while pregnant…I hope I’m as lucky as you. Poor Atticus with the teething! Hate that for him, but happy to see he can relax with you and your pup by his side.
I can’t wait to see you with two babies! They are lucky that they’ll be so close in age.
    Xo, Jill

    1. Ahh you are so sweet!!! We are so excited!! Hoping November comes soon haha 🙂 xo

  29. I think the second pregnancy seemed so much faster than the first for me since I did have a fun little distraction with me all the time. We were totally the same way with not buying anything for our little girl though. Literally my mom was running to Target to buy everything for us the day we brought her home because we literally only had a pack n play for her to sleep in haha. It all works itself out!

  30. I really love reading your blog when my son is napping. It never fails to make me smile! I was the same way when I was pregnant. My belly button popped and then never went back down to its original size. That was definitely something I never thought about before getting pregnant. It never once dawned on me that belly buttons stretch out haha I was a huge lover of any type of vitamin E body butters. I never got stretch marks on my belly and I like to think it was because of that! Haha I got them another not so nice places, like inner thighs 🙁 oh well the sacrifices one makes to become a momma 🙂 hope these next 13 weeks are easy peezy for you!! Carly xo

  31. Hahaha I love this. (The end bit is the best- I’m totally like that too, it’s drives everyone crazy!) I’m so excited for you to have your little girl!! She is going to have THE best role model for a mother 🙂 I really hope Atticus feels better soon! <3

    Blog* http://lavitabella7.com

  32. I am so excited for your baby girl!!! You will have so much fun dressing her I am sure! These pics are so cute! Love them! I did that with a flight once and it wasn’t good. lol. I wont be doing that again! Hope these 13 weeks go by quickly for you! I can’t even imagine how exciting it must be! Have a great day!

  33. I love your posts like this, it makes your blog feel so genuine and unscripted, like you are just talking with your girlfriends. Your genuine style is what attracted me to your blog in the beginning – I love it!
Side note – I can’t believe how much social media hate and bullying bloggers have to endure! The people who are so critical of you, Pink Peonies, etc are just the worst. I always feel bad for you guys when I see the cruel comments, but I honestly feel worse for the individuals who comment because their life must be so miserable to spend their time and energy so negatively. I hope you are able to shake off the negativity and realize how many people are inspired by you! XO.

  34. This is maybe my fav entree ever- I love your adorable rant and your honesty! So excited to watch your healthy family grow more 🙂

    1. Yay!! Thanks so much!! I am glad to hear that 🙂 Thanks for the sweet comment!!! xo

  35. I hope little A is feeling better! I heard that teething is a killer for them and the parents. Only 13 weeks?! You’re almost here – so exciting 🙂

    stay styled,

    1. Thanks so much Lindsey!! I hope so too! 🙁 And yay! Hopefully it will fly by!! xo

  36. These photos are so sweet! Beautiful little family and your dog is adorable too 😀

    Holly || agrlcalledholly.blogspot.co.uk

    1. Thank you so much!! You are so sweet!! I am glad you liked the post 🙂 I can tell you will be a great mama someday!! xo

  37. omg, A’s face in that first pic….killing me! I love how real you are, not cleaning the house and lounging, (that’s what we do too.) your realness and openess makes you so relatable. I am looking forward to seeing where you guys travel to next. It is so awesome you still travel and have adventures with kid(s)! XoXo

  38. That first picture! Omg. ???? I can’t wait to see what your little girl looks like. Between A and her there is just going to be way too much cuteness!

    On a random note:
It’d be great for you to do a video or post about healthy meals you make during the week. I have the hardest time with finding healthy meals to take to work for lunch (because I don’t want to microwave) and to make for dinner. I find that my biggest hurdle is knowing what to eat. But I’ve gained 30 pounds since getting married and I’m really wanting to get rid of it! Haha

  39. hahah you just make me smile! I love reading stuff like this because it’s just REAL. Like it’s not BS or pretending that life is perfect all the time. Especially with little A teething AND you’re pregnant. Guys don’t get it, but that belly makes you soooo tired. Plus all those crazy hormones. There are days where you just have to admit that nothing is going to get done. It took me a while to feel ok with that because I would look at other moms and think “How the heck do they always have it together?!?” Then while talking to my mom she made me realize that it’s not like that all the time. It comes in waves and sometimes you just have to say, “This will get done later. I have other priorities or need to rest.”

But when I saw that shot on Instagram yesterday it melted my heart. The 3 of you and your gorgeous belly are too stinken cute. Sending well wishes to Atticus – he’s such a trooper and beyond sweet!

  40. Love the randomness here! 🙂 sometimes just writing and getting out your feelings is a great way to express yourself. Oh and your baby bump is the cutest!! I’ve been following you for a long time and love that you’re having baby number two! 🙂

  41. What cuddle bugs! How cute! I’m totally the opposite, I’m a huge planner 🙂 To each’s own!

    1. Aww thanks Rae!! And that’s such a good thing!! You may have to teach me a few things haha 😉 xo

  42. Awe I feel so bad for little A! Having 2 kids is definitely different, but not bad at all. I’m sure you’ll continue all your adventures like nothing happened. Oh and I agree about the body being different, but so worth it. I am 3 months post Josiah and I am still trying to bounce back, but I’m sure you wont have that problem. I loved this post btw, late night type sessions look good on you! Hugs to you both/ or should I say the three of you, since you count as 2.

  43. Poor little Atticus! Teething is so awful!! Your belly is just the cutest! I hope he feels better soon. Enjoy all the snuggles!

  44. HAHA!! It’s so much fun to be random sometimes 🙂 I hate that Atticus is having such a hard time with his little teeth…man I know how hard it is to know you can’t take that discomfort away for them. Looks like you’re giving him just what he needs….all those snuggles and love will go a long way <3. I know 13 weeks seems like forever, but it'll fly by and I cannot wait to see you all as an adorable family of 4!! So much fun!! All the best.

  45. I am 2 weeks ahead of you in my pregnancy- and feel pretty much the same- sometimes i cannot wait for these last weeks to pass- then i get incredibly panicky because i feel like i have no idea what i am doing…All in all, i know we will be fine and i cannot wait to meet my little guy.
I really liked this post- you always look so put- together and perfectly styled- yet effortless… i was thinking i am the only one wishing not to go to work that particular day and just sit around home in my pajamas and wearing no shoes…. Why does it have to be so hard to get comfortable in any shoes???

I hope Atticus’s teething will pass soon- my niece had the same with the molars, then the rest popped up without issues- i hope the same for you!

    Have a great day!

    Kisses from Prague 🙂

  46. You are the REALEST and crack me up. I rarely comment but you always get me on these stream-of-conscience posts because they are so fresh and candid. You inspire me as a mom even though my kids are a lot older than yours! 🙂 And LOVE the mix of beautiful posed pics and relaxed, un-self conscience baby bump/sitting on the floor pics. Motherhood has so many moments sprawled on the floor, and I I’m glad that you share the joy in those moments, too. Can’t wait to hear more about your travels!

    1. Oops – I meant stream of consciousness! I know the difference – eek! 🙂

  47. I love when you do your stream of consciousness posts, just writing whatever comes to mind. It’s what I fell in love with about your blog from the beginning (and because you are freaking adorable) because it feels like you’re talking to a friend.

I am totally the same at not planning or ever knowing dates or times, and I don’t even have the excuse of having kids or pregnancy brain haha. Can’t wait to see where you’re heading!

    xo Mary-Katherine | http://www.goldhattedlover.com

  48. I’m a long time (Canadian 🙂 ) follower of yours and I can say that I really appreciate when you add “everyday” posts such as these into the mix. I’m sure there are tons of readers like myself who enjoy a combination of fashion, exciting travel, beauty, AND everyday life posts – you guys are human, after all. Hopefully Atticus’ teething woes pass soon and looking forward to seeing where your travels take you next!

  49. Haha this post cracked me up. I too get super excited about my pregnancy app and keep looking ahead. But I can understand how analyzing every week or two can make it seem like it’s going by so slow. I also love how you wrote this post just because you felt like it. Thanks for sharing the little things too  QUICK QUESTION- I think I’m following the wrong barefoot blonde on Snapchat haha. Can you please tell me your username again? I quickly realized this isn’t you.

  50. You are just too cute 🙂 Love seeing these sweet photos! Having two kids seems so surreal. It’s such an exciting time for you! PS: I tend to randomly book things too, so I am right there with you. Sometimes it is more fun to be impulsive 😉

    1. Aww thank you so much!! Your comments always make me smile!! And I know huh?? I can’t believe it!! Oh and I am glad I am not the only impulsive one out there haha! 😉 xo

  51. Those photos are so sweet…relaxed clothing and cuddle time is my favorite. I just can’t get enough of the relationship Atticus has with Chauncey! Goldens are the best, I adore my golden girl! So gentle and loving! Well, here is to a quick and comfortable 13 weeks ::cheers:: 🙂

    1. Thank you so much Lisa!! Isn’t it the best?! And oh I know! They really are best friends, it is the sweetest thing!! We will see how they do when we add another little sister in the mix 😉 Goldens are the best, I 100% agree! Thanks for reading love!

  52. I’m so sorry poor Atticus is going through such a rough time with his molars! Hopefully it will be over soon. He’s lucky to have such awesome, loving parents to help him through, though! Haha I know what you mean—I am about a week ahead of you pregnancy-wise and always want my belly out! I told my husband last night that I hate covering the baby up, I feel bad. And it just feels better having my belly exposed! We just had our baby bash last night, so baby has lots of things now—before that we had gotten nothing for it yet! haha. It feels better to be a little more prepared 🙂 Excited to see where you guys are headed abroad!

    1. Thanks so much Brooke!! It has been so rough but I am hoping it will pass soon 🙁 I appreciate your kind words!! You are so nice! And ahh so excited for you!!! Isn’t it so nice to just let it hang out??? Why is that haha!? And how cute! A baby bash?! That is adorable!! So glad you got lots of good things!! I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly!! xo

  53. Love reading your blog, it’s so cute and fun and so is your family. Great photos, love the style. Can’t wait to see where your travels take you next!

    1. Thanks so much!! You are too kind!! I appreciate your sweet comment!! xo

  54. is your husband a professional photographer? His photos are really good quality

    1. Thanks so much! And he just takes photos for my blog but he is pretty amazing!!

  55. I love how you never hold back in anything you say, you just say whatever you’re thinking at the moment. I really appreciate it when people are being real and their true self online!

    1. Thanks so much Cassidy!! That means a lot to me!! Thank you for following along! 🙂

  56. Ugh I just love your blog so much Amber! I love reading about your family life and everything you guys are up to! Where are you off to next? I can’t wait to see photos of the next place you visit

    1. Thank you so much Monica!! That makes me happy to hear 🙂 And the destination will remain a surprise!! But I can’t wait to share pics once we are there!! xo

  57. Ramble posts are the best! To be honest, I’m a firm believer that “free spirits” are the happiest. Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to schedule every minute of my life! You’re doing such a great job, don’t worry about changing 🙂 xx

    1. Thanks so much for reading beautiful!! I am happy you enjoyed it!! I agree on the scheduling, it’s so hard! Thank you for being so sweet!! xo

  58. Enjoy your pregnancy! You seem such a warm family to be born in, your kids are extremely lucky to have you.
It’s nice reading what goes on in your mind. I get what you say there, if I read my posts again I start changing or deleting some parts and sometimes it removes the pureness of your thoughts.

  59. Oh my God, I really love read your blog! I’m from Italy and you’re an inspiration for me as a mom. I’m a young mom too and I consider this blog so ispirational for me with all your tips for motherood. 60. These blogs are my favorite to read because it really gives me an idea of your life 🙂 You’re so open and honest it’s refreshing! Not at all staged and gone over a million times. (or you’re really good in hiding that lol) That’s why you’re my favorite blogger.

    1. Thank you so much Megan!! I appreciate that 🙂 You are too nice!! Thanks for the sweet compliments!! xoxo

  61. It’s so fun to read your stream of consciousness — spontaneous vacation decisions are often the best ones! And the real life pics from home are just fabulous. The three of you all cuddled up together on the floor just melts my heart! That little girl is coming in to one happy family full of love. Seeing how much Atticus adores Chauncey must make you so excited to see how he will dote on his little sister. Makes me smile 🙂

    1. I agree!! It was very spontaneous but I am hoping everything goes okay haha! And thank you so much!! You are the sweetest!! I am so happy reading this because you totally made my day!! Love ya! xo

  62. Younprobably don’t remember me but I seriously love your blog. It has just the right amount of everything so keep up the good work haha. Love seeing pictures of cute Atticus too!

    1. I totally remember you!!! 🙂 And thank you so much!! That means a lot to me!! I hope you are doing well!! xo

  63. Hahahaha! I love your honesty, you’re so cute! Also, don’t worry about the tiny stretchmarks, if nothing else, at least they’re there to remind you of two miracles that you brought to life AND it gives you a “street credibity”! 😉

    1. That’s so true haha!! I love it 🙂 They are definitely good reminders! Thanks for reading love!! xo

  64. You’re the absolute cutest… And I love that you’re keeping it real. (From pictures) you seem to be the best mama 🙂 xo
