Laundry Room Reveal

So excited to share our laundry room today! I’ve never had a laundry room before, so it’s been fun to have this space. We actually weren’t able to have any linen closets with how our layout works so this space acts as a linen closet and laundry room. We wanted to have a lot of storage space for bedding, towels, medicine, cleaning supplies, gift wrap, the works.. all in one space. Becki designed everything (I have all specs listed below!) and I love how it turned out. We did a very soft blue for the cabinets, I love how subtle and calm the color is. We had Masterbrand do all of our custom cabinetry and they custom matched Iceberg by Benjamin Moore for the cabinets. We went with the Decora line and our door style is the ‘Harmony’ door style!

You might notice how organized the room is and I cannot take an ounce of credit for that ha ha! We had Neat Method come and organize the space. Emmaley and Nicole were our organizers and they went out and bought all the bins, labels, etc. and made it all look amazing.

We have double 2 washer and dryers which a lot of you were confused about, but it was something we really wanted just to speed up the laundry process. A lot of people we know who have built homes in Arizona have two sets and put one set upstairs and one downstairs or have one in the master closet. Both sound really convenient, but neither of those worked with our layout, so we did this! This was actually my only direction I gave Becki with this particular room, was the double washer and dryer but everything else we just gave free reign!

One of my favorite rooms in our home is our living room! It has such a cozy and peaceful feeling. I wanted to show you guys a couple peeks at night and in the morning since I can’t decide which time of day I like being in there most. At night I love the lighting and coziness and in the morning it feels so fresh!

Home Advice

We moved into our home 4 days before Christmas! It was really hectic those first few days but we decided to do as much as we could and then just shut down and enjoy Christmas Eve and Christmas without worrying about un-packing! We are about 80% moved in but still just need to wait for a few remaining items, style shelves, and put the finishing touches on each room.

  1. Do you know what kind of plant that is in the vase next to the sink? Google is failing me. The room looks lovely!

  2. Hi Amber, I have 3 little kids like you (3 and 2 years old and 10 months old would like to know how you educate your children so that they like healthy food. Cause i’m always fighting with them and i want them to want to eat, not cause i force them. Thank u so much!

  3. Ohhhh I love it!!! I ran to The container store and re did my linen closet with the baskets and Lazysusans !! Thank you so much for the inspiration!! Just love you!!

  4. Loved this reveal! Please do a post about how you do Rosie’s hair. My daughter is 2 and I’m in doubt of weather I should cut it and how to do different styles. Love all the styles you have been doing on Rosie since she was a little girl. Good luck with the birth

  5. Your house is beautiful from what I’ve seen! Thanks for all the info and ideas! We just purchased land and plan on building within a year. So exciting! May ask where you purchased your hardware for the cabinets? What style and finish? Thank you so much!

  6. It looks beautiful. The color and style of the cabinets are really great. There is nothing worse than a bad laundry room when you are stuck in there taking care of multiple loads! Glad you were able to have such a nice space for a less than fun chore. 🙂

  7. I think having all that stuff in one great room is stellar ! Laundry is tedious. My daughter has three kids and she spends hours doing laundry , ugh. Until today, I’ve never seen this. I was telling hubby that I’d love a huge room for all my pots and pans, canned goods, . I’d close them off, farm door, so I don’t have to look at the stuff. Then having the washer and dryer area , in the same room , possibly , would would be ideal! Stellar ! Love the countertops. Maybe I missed where they are from? Grasses in huge vase, so earthy and calming , where from ?? I’d put those in my home🧡 kudos to your designer, job well thought of and done ! What she transformed your home in to, it’s just wonderful. What talent ! I’d love a beautiful smaller chair in there to read maybe, while wash getting done 😀 enjoy!

  8. Gorgeous space! Would you mind telling us where and what hardware you used? Would love to use it in our new home!

  9. Omg this is the most beautiful laundry room I’ve ever seen! I would also LOVE To have two washers and dryers that’s pretty genius.

  10. Having two sets of washers/dryers is not an Arizona thing. It’s a rich person thing. I would bet money that there are more people that have one set of each than there are of people with two sets of each.

    1. Well yes of course there are more that have one – I am just saying that a lot of people who build homes have the luxury of picking and choosing what they make room for in their home since they are designing it and most people WE know who have built home have told us to have two sets because they love it.

  11. So pretty and love the use of space especially having a little gift wrapping station in there as well!

    1. I like the countertops ?? Did I miss where they’re from?? Also the grass in vase?? Maybe a lovely chair 😀 I think every woman would love this, I would. I was telling hubby that I’d like a huge room like that for pots and pans , canned goods, close them off so I don’t have to see them though 😀 also….the 2 washers and dryers , if you have 3 children, like my daughter does, ugh ideal! It takes time to do all the laundry ! It’s so tedious. To this day, one of my least favorite chores😜 To get it done in 1/2 the time , yes! I never ever dreamed of that. That idea was stellar in my opinion. 👍 all that stuff in one room, genius. Compliments to your designer….what she did to make your home everything youve ever dreamed of … 🧡
