Recently Kérastase told me about their new Fusio Dose Hair Lab where you team up with a stylist and they diagnose your hair and make a custom treatment tailored for the needs of your hair. They have over 20 combinations they can create depending on what they see your hair needs. The part that I was in shock about was this new technology I got to try out where they can use this camera to look at your hair SUPER up close (600x magnified) and assess everything about it.. And let me tell you, it is BANANAS! I honestly was nervous to do it because I didn’t want to see the results for my hair, haha, I know my hair has been so dry and is really damaged right now especially on the ends! But they can look at a single strand of hair and measure it to tell you the diameter which tells you if you have fine, normal, or thick hair.. I have fine which I already knew but still so cool to see that. And then they assess how damaged it is and exactly what needs your hair has. Then with the results of that assessment they make a custom tailored 5 minute treatment at the Fusio Dose Hair Lab for your hair and do it at the salon paired with a fab blow out. Since my hair is fine + damaged they did Concentre Vita Ciment to strengthen hair and Booster Densite to add more body. Seeing a hair break in half up close is so wild (see the photo above!) it really is so cool. And now my hair feels 900 times better and softer. They also recommend products that you can continue to use at home. For me they recommended Théerapiste range to help repair my ends.
They will have this technology at 100 Kérastase salons around the US as of next year but you can still go in and get your hair examined by a stylist and have a custom treatment done! See which salon in your area will carry Fusio Dose here. I got mine done at Butterfly Studio here in NYC! She also told me a cool tip that I hadn’t ever heard so figured I would share. She said when you’re putting in a deep conditioner to really massage it into the hair and the friction will help it really get into the hair. I had always just kinda layered it on and then let it sit for 15 min but she said this will help it soak up much more.
Thank you to Kérastase for sponsoring this post!
