Harvest Bowl Salad RecipeHarvest Bowl Salad RecipeHarvest Bowl Salad Recipe

Since I posted this salad on snapchat we have gotten soo many requests for a recipe so here it is!!! This is my absolute favorite salad – ever ever ever. It is the Harvest Bowl from sweetgreen but we make it at home. This salad is I think like $13 at sweetgreen and we can make a serving for two people for $4 so boom look at us savin money!!! But also I am just too lazy to walk to sweetgreen and wait in the mile long line everyday. Soo here is the recipe!

-kale (chopped suuuuuuper fine – into tiny pieces)

-diced apples

-cooked, diced, sweet potatoes

-wild rice (I like a lot of rice in mine!)

-cheese (they use goat cheese at sweetgreen, but I used diced cheddar)

-chopped almonds

-shredded chicken

-balsamic vinaigrette

At the sweetgreen they toss the salad so intensely – like REALLY toss the salad. And its soo good like that. So we put it in a really big mixing bowl and shake it up real good. Try this salad and you won’t be disappointed!!!!

  1. I made this as a side dish with cod, so I left out the chicken. My boyfriend came home from work and said, “please remember everything you used to put in that salad. I think it was the best salad I have had in my entire life.” I thought I would pass along the message. Thank you for posting!

  2. Looks delicious! Shaking salads is seriously the best way to mix them and coat everything. I like to put mine in a large tupperware container with a lid so that I can really shake it haha
