COAT: Vince / JEANS: Shopbop (old; similar here) / SHOES: Converse / SWEATER: Vince

These were from a morning last week with the kiddos. That week I didn’t get to see them as much as I usually do and I was craving a long morning with them. On the way home they both fell asleep on me and it was the best taxi ride home ever snuggling them.

You guys we move this THURSDAY ahhh!! It is so crazy. There are a lot of things I will miss about New York but here are some of them…

  1. FALL TIME. Because look at those leaves you guys!
  2. Ordering seamless.
  3. Walking everywhere and each time having those “holy cow we live here” moments.
  4. Our local bakery.
  5. Having so many food options.
  6. Hailing a cab because it is always fun to me 😉
  7. All skyline views. Top of the Rock, view from Brooklyn, views over the lakes with skyline in the back, Sheep Meadow, and so many more.
  8. Summer nights with the kids in the park.
  9. Bike rides in Central Park.
  10. Sitting in Sheep Meadow and watching so many people do so many different things but all in the same place. Play with their kids, picnic, sleep, birthday parties, on a first date, playing soccer, and everything else.
  11. Eating outside at restaurants with the family.
  12. ALL of our friends.
  13. The view from our apartment and being able to take the kids to the window anytime they are sad. It instantly makes them happy.
  14. Watching the sunset from our apartment.
  15. Going to bed with our amazing view.
  16. Seeing everyone on the subway and wondering where they are going and what they do for a living and where they are from etc

  1. How do you take a cab with two carseats and then what do you do with them? Carry them around? This is blowing my mind .’h

  2. I’ll miss living in NYC (vicariously through yall of course). Horrible absolutely dumbest question ever…. but…. What socks (if any) do you wear with your converse?? I am sorry in advance (monkey over the eyes emoji)

Love y’all for real though…. such an amazing family 🙂

    Xxo, Steph

  3. I saved all the pictures!! So adorable ❤❤ keep blogging, vlogging or everything about your family! Enjoy in your new town!❤

  4. Such gorgeous pictures. The view of the bridge and all the fall foliage is beautiful.

  5. I’m not going to lie and say I’m not sad. Not only will I miss the lovely posts of you guys and your kiddos in the city, but we were neighbors and I was lucky enough to meet you guys several times. I wish you guys the absolute best! Y’all made the best decision, family is everything…I’ve found out moving out all alone out here from California. God bless and continued success in all y’alls endeavors. Peace and love.

  6. I love these photos! Best of luck and happiness on your move, I know it’s daunting–especially with those little ones!

  7. We moved from the Upper West Side in NYC to Atlanta last April and my husband and I STILL say multiple times a month how much we miss seamless. lol – I really miss ordering Insomnia cookies at 11pm. And I miss Birdbath Bakery. Did you guys ever try that bakery? SO yummy!
I can relate to so many of the things you listed and I can tell you that you will miss everything so much, but as much as we miss NYC we are loving Atlanta. We love having a house and a yard. Our little boy is 3 and our daughter is 1 and we live on a quiet street now where he can ride his bike and she can run wild outside, so this life is pretty perfect too. 🙂 And decorating an entire house is super fun.

Wishing you the best of luck moving and in your new adventure! It’s bittersweet, I know!

  8. OH-EM-GEE! This post is SO visually appealing. I’m OB-SESSED! Those colors though .. Eeeeek!

  9. Amber, I used to live in NYC for three years and I can tell you I miss all of these things as well!!! What was your local bakery? Always curious to try new ones as I have a serious sweet tooth. It’s always good to have such fond memories and people to visit every time I go back. I wish y’all the best of luck with your move! xoxo

  10. That sounds all so great!!! I am coming to NY in April & I’m very exited. Sadly you won’t be there anymore!
Hope you enjoy your last days in Big Apple & that you are all fit (and not sick anymore) for the move!

  11. Once you move to Arizona, do you think you & David (and Rosie, Atticus, Chauncey) will ever do a meet & greet in California, any where near San Francisco?!

  12. Can’t believe the time has come and you’re moving already! There are definitely lots of great things about living in the magical city of NYC, but I am sure you will discover many amazing things about living in Arizona as well…and I can’t wait to see them all on the blog! Best of luck with the move this week! XO

  13. You have the most beautiful clothes, and the cutest kids!! I will miss seeing all of your NYC adventures, but best of luck with your move 🙂

  16. What an awesome opportunity you had to live in an iconic place! We just moved out of Chicago and while it’s nowhere as big or famous, I definitely miss city life. However getting around the burbs with a 10 month old is so easy now!

  27. I lived in New York for 6 years and it’s so hard to leave and you’ll miss so many things but you can always visit and it will always somehow feel like your city even though you aren’t there anymore. You have so many memories and your kids were born there so it will always be extra special. Good luck with the move! I’ll be thinking about you! 🙂

  28. These are some of my favourite photos you’ve ever posted! Especially the one of just you and Rosie, about halfway through, where you’re holding her up by her hands. I swear that’s a photo that when she’s older she’ll show her friends and be like that’s MY mom! You look so effortlessly beautiful and are clearly giving her such a happy time. It just hit me as being a photo that Rosie will probably hold dear one day! So much love, Clarks!

  29. your family is SO beautiful, and you are such an AMAZING mother. I’m a little sad to not be seeing your pictures from New York, but also extremely excited and happy for you and your family as you enter this next chapter! Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us- you and your family are such an inspiration <3

  30. I can’t believe you are moving this week. I’m so happy you had the chance to live in the best city in the WORLD! I too lived and worked in the city for 3 1/2 years and then moved and I will say the first 6 months are tough…..but you, i know you, the love of your children, husband, travel, building your brand will for sure help when the skyline isn’t in your view but will be in your heart. Many blessings to you and your family…..what an adventure. xoxo

  31. Good luck with all of the moving! It sounds like you had some amazing memories in NYC with your little angels =o)
