Sorry for the overload on selfies but if you can’t tell I kinda love taking them! Some of my favorite pictures of David and I, Atticus and I, or all three of us are selfies we took spur of the moment. When you ask someone to take a picture you pose and get all awkward but spontaneous selfies (in my opinion) catch those funny memories you don’t want to miss. Which is also why I love that David takes the photos for this blog – he captures candid moments and those are my favorite kind.
At Four Sesasons in Bora Bora there were multiple beaches you could go to at the resort and this one in particular was nice because it had lots of shade, we were the only ones there, and the water is literally a foot deep for a while before it starts to get deeper, and no waves. AKA baby friendly to the max! We would set up camp there and just relax and watch Atticus do his thang.
I am currently up because I am still jetlagged meanwhile David and A are sleepin like babies and Chauncey is on the bed next to us snoring so loud! I hate the sound of snoring so unbelievably bad to the point where I can’t sleep and I actually get really angry because it drives me so bonkers. But freak I am too much of a softy to wake him up so here I am! My two cousins that we have grown up with (basically sisters) are in town staying with us and we went on a little girls night tonight while David had a guys night and went to compete in a Seinfeld trivia contest where he got 5th out of 31 people (pretty dang good especially since he didn’t know you could have a ‘team’ so he did it solo up against teams of 5)! He is nutso with his Seinfeld, he has gone to bed watching it every night for who knows how long and knows every episode by heart. Me and my cousins went to Prosperity to get dumplings (still can’t believe they are 4 for $1 – like how!) and they introduced me to the sesame bread which has to be my new favorite thing ever! (also only a freaking dollar, like one dollar bill). My cousin has been living in China teaching for the last year and I love hearing her tell me about their culture, it is so cool and now I am wanting to go visit so bad! I just worry about the dang pollution with Atticus :/
My chance to get sleep before Atticus wakes up is dwindling ever so fast. BYE!
