I am still in homemade scrub mode and this is our latest concoction that I LOVE! Again, even David loves this one! I love introducing my hubs to fun beauty things because you can’t deny how good silky smooth lips feel after a good lip scrub! Especially when you put on chapstick after. Who doesn’t love that and it makes for good smoochin. I used to always do these before I would go on dates with David ha 😉 This one is really easy like the last one. We have had fun with these little flavorings 😉

The recipe is below and once you mix it all up, you get your lips wet with water and then get some scrub on your finger and scrub away on them lips! Rinse it all off and put on your favorite lip balm. I usually like to put on this Bite Beauty lip mask (I have the one with the pink tint and one without and I think I like the one without better.) and/or this Skinceuticals Lip Repair. I have been doing both of these every night and they feel so good in the morning.

Here is the recipe!

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp oil (coconut or olive – I used olive oil)

1/2 cap full of bubble gum flavor (or more!)

1 tiny drop of deep pink food coloring (optional) *also I added just over 2 drops and it was too much so I added more sugar and oil to make it a less scary pink haha. so go easy on this – 1 drop is probably good!

mix it all together.

  13. Can’t wait to try this! What’s the best way to store the scrub? I was thinking in a small glass mason jar, and I ‘d think this does not need to be kept in the refrigerator?

  14. Cute cute cute! Loving your green nails (looks verrrrrry Hawaiian 🌺) and the scrub actually looks berrylicious! I think I would swap the bubble gum flavor and coloring for something more fruity. But thank you for sharing such a simple and fun DIY!

  15. I love the green nail polish against the pink of the scrub. Also your eyebrows look nice in these photos! I know that sounds weird lol but they look really natural and cute here. X
