DRESS: Band of Outsiders // BOOTIES: Nordstrom (old, very similar here and here) // BAG: Chanel via Fashionphile // LIPSTICK: MAC ‘Pink Nouveau’

We are in NYC and I am loving being here  with my baby even though I constantly feel like he is breathing in toxic air haha. And thanks for the tips on traveling, I didn’t realize you could use a carseat without a base so that was a total lifesaver! Going through the airport was easier than I thought.. I had to have a carryon because I had some expensive things that I don’t want getting lost (I have had my luggage lost before where I never got it back! It was a nightmare!) plus if it did get lost I wanted to have baby essentials. Soo I carried Atticus on me in a Solly Wrap and then had my suitcase on top of the carseat/stroller and then my diaper bag on the handle.. which wasn’t terrible but I feel like the airport would have been even a million times easier had I not had my dang carry on!

When I was shopping for Fashion Week, I had to make sure whatever I got was breastfeeding friendly so I was soo happy when I saw this dress had buttons up the top. And thank heavens because I have already had to breastfeed in the back of a cab THREE times! I am getting to be a pro at that thing and it is quite the ab workout haha.

Hope you all are having a good week! xo

  1. I really like the layout of your blog. It is very artistic and neat. I also enjoy the way you include other aspects to your posts such as setting and interesting feature. I hope you keep sharing your talent and ideas with us! Great blog!

  2. Looks like an amazing trip! Love the photos — Atticus is so darn cute. Are you able to breastfeed while keeping him safely in the car seat? That must be quite the feat of in-car yoga-nursing/gymnastics. 🙂 I’m sure you are not taking him out to feed, as the horror stories that surround such a mis-step are pretty frightening. I’ll spare you the details, but it happened to a neighbour in Sweden. Anywho, be safe, stay healthy and happy. Enjoy the Big A with your little A!

  3. Is this stroller base the Quinny Buzz Xtra 2015 stroller base? Would love to know which stroller you are loving the most.

    Thanks!

  4. That picture of Atticus next to the Chanel pumps!! You can tell he’s loving the world he’s being brought up in! You should definitely send that to Chanel!

  5. Good mama! You are so hands on with your baby and still doing ur thing in ny! Inspiring!

  6. They have these fantastic carseat/luggage totes so when not in use you can roll that around. also you can actually put baby in carseat in the plane just install with seatbelt thru the rear facing belt path. Its safest way to travel because baby can be thrown in case of crash. They might hassel you a bit but you can install in the seats. Same with cabs. Looks like a super fun trip glad your having fun!

  7. Beautiful photos as always, Amber! Your blog is like reading the morning paper 🙂 A nice way to start the day! Have fun in NY!! Xo

  8. Really too funny how they all look at your baby on that photo! Good for you that you do not stop traveling even with a baby! New York would scare me a bit with a newborn. Kisses prettyness!
