A Beautiful October Day in Vermont

I kid you not you guys, these hills are evvverywhere and are 100 times more beautiful in person!!! One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my entire life. We were on a drive on Lincoln Gap Road going from Shelburne to Warren and we passed this amazing swing hanging from a tree! We saw a home way up above it and drove up to go ask them if we could use it and then had the best time playing on it! For sure one of the highlights for the kids as you can tell from those massive smiles. It felt like we were in a storybook with all of those perfect leaves and the kids giggles – so good. Can you tell we just a little bit loved this trip?

David and I are actually in San Francisco and went to the How I Built This summit today! We love the podcast and thought it would be fun to come and it was really cool to hear all those speakers in person! I even got a selfie with Guy Raz 🙂 we also just signed Atticus AND Rosie up for soccer next season – Atticus is in it now but next season Rosie is old enough so they will be on the same team which is going to be so fun to watch. Can’t wait to get home early tomorrow morning because I already miss the kids and am excited to go see the house because some more fun details have gotten done and I can’t wait to see. Hope you are having a great week!!!!

  1. I’m worried in your last post about your back pain…is it low back, right or left, does it hurt to press on the spot, any urination difficulty?? I’m just wondering if you have kidney stones? As an OR nurse, we see this happen is pregnancy’s on occasion. So take it seriously, and check with your doctor. Sending my best love and health for you and your sweet family! Xoxo

  2. These photos are absolutely stunning! I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many trees in their fall splendor before. I’d love to visit Vermont and see this view in person some day.

  6. These photos just made my day! It’s taking so long for the leaves to change color in Philly – I’m afraid one day I’m just going to wake up and they won’t be there! Loved seeing how happy this trip made you and your little fam. Gorgeous, gorgeous as usual!

  7. This is soooo amazing! I love fall and all its colors, activities and especially the nature, how it all changes and prepares us for the winter and cold days…We have a very beautiful fall here in central Europe too. I can’t even remember when it was last so pretty for so many days in a row like it is this year. Love your photos, A+Ro had a wonderful time…And I also appreciate you going to the house asking about the swing – wish everyone would at least consider to do stuff like that 🙂 🙂 Have a nice day! 🙂
