Hiii! Just wanted to pop in and say hi and share some photos from our baseball game we went to! Atticus is seriously sooo fun to hang out with and we wanted to have some alone time with him. I remember my parents taking me out by myself and even on one on ones with my dad so I really want that for my kids too. (plus it was past ro’s bedtime haha). We went with my grandparents, parents, and all my siblings and my cousin.

We head to Europe this weekend!!! We are starting our trip in Iceland and I am seriously stoooked!!!! I cannot wait. We have a super cool group going so stay tuned on insta stories to see who we invited to come with us.

Anyways hope you are all having a good week and are ready for the weekend. I am about to hop on a flight and I am listening to the audio book 4 Hour Workweek. I I have really liked it because I love his tips for being more productive. (also adding that I just got to a chapter that I didn’t love so I don’t agree with everything in the book) But my time with my kids is everything so I try to get my work done in as little time as possible each day. So a lot of his tips have been really useful for me. I especially liked how he says if you give yourself 8 hours to get everything done, it will take you 8 hours. But if you give yourself an hour and you are under pressure, you will likely perform better and get everything done in that hour. Obviously not always but I think it is true a lot of times that we don’t need as much time as we think we do. Probably a lot better in his words so probably better to just listen to the book lol. What are some books you guys are listening to or reading? I have such a big list! Maybe next blog post I will share some of my favorites I have finished and also want to read!

Have a good weekend!

  1. Baseball games are so fun!!

Okay, if you are into self-improvement books, you might love Start Something that Matters. It’s an autobiography from the guy who started the TOMS company with their One for One campaign. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone, especially young entrepreneurs! He is so inspiring, and you finish feeling like you can really effect change in the world. Here is the link on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Start-Something-Matters-Blake-Mycoskie/dp/0812981448/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1502595610&sr=8-1&keywords=start+something+that+matters

Blake Mycoskie (the TOMS guy) is very much someone who agrees with the sentiments of the 4 Hour Work Week. I love hearing your insights from the books that you are reading; please keep us updated on your latest finds!!
