My Favorite Things : Fitness
This is Volume 1 of my new Favorite Things Series! Each Wednesday we will have a theme to these posts and they will be my favorite things from that category or theme! Today’s is FITNESS! I figured a lot of people probably set fitness goals for the year so this might be a good one to start with. I shared my 2 fitness goals below along with all of my favorite fitness related products!!!
First up is Protein Pancakes!!! The Kodiak Cakes Pancake mix tastes sooo good. I have tried adding protein powders to
pancake mix and it always tastes kinda good but slightly off. And these are really really GOOD!!! I promise! And you can add fruit and sugar-free syrup to make them even tastier. They have 14 grams of protein in a serving, but David and I estimate that the size of a pancake we make is probably about 20 grams. Also, we only made this many for the photo but I normally don’t have THIS many ha ha.
Adidas by Stella McCartney
I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love Adidas by Stella McCartney! Each pair is so unique and fun! I love love love them. I have been buying her shoes from her Adidas collab for about 4 years now. My first pair I bought 4 years ago I still wear to the gym all the time so they hold up really really good! I am not a runner so I can’t say that they are good running shoes because I wouldn’t really know but I have done lots of high intensity cardio workouts in them and they are great.
APL TechLoom Phantom Sneakers
My other favorite is APL’s!! They are so clean and simple and beautiful! I have this nude/light blush pair and
then I have a pair of aqua blue ones! They are super comfy and sturdy so you can do lots of different workouts
without them moving around if you know what I mean. They also are so pretty that they look good with joggers
and a tee or jeans and a tee for going out and running errands!
I bought this Lululemon top a while ago and I am sure you guys have seen me in it a BUNCH! I lovvve it so
much. I love it because it is flattering and I love that I don’t also have to wear a sports bra with it but I still am
held in place. (There is a built in bra!) Although again, I don’t run so can’t say it is running approved. But I loved it so much I bought it in
the white color too and I want every color!
Bandier Lace Up Legging
Hands down these are the most flattering leggings I own!!!! I wear them ALL the time and I am always
complemented on them. I love that the waist goes up so high so I can wear crop tops without showing any of
my stomach (I generally don’t want to show stomach at the gym). I also think the cut is really flattering for the
Lululemon Align Pant II
These are the softest leggings I own and I love that they are simple and just plain black so I can wear them
around the house or out and about with sweaters but also to the gym!! My friend Cara actually told me I HAD to
buy them and she was very insistent on this haha and then I put them on and texted her and said “THIS IS
WHY YOU MADE ME BUY THEM!!!!”
Beats Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones
I cannot believe how long it took me to get wireless headphones but once I did I just couldn’t get over how amazing they are!!!! If you haven’t gotten any yet PLEASE GET SOME!!! I use these gold Beats and I really really love them!!!! The battery lasts forever – I have had mine 6 months and use them almost daily and I have charged them I think 4 times!
Lately at the gym these have been my 3 fav songs to listen to! 2 of them are from The Greatest Showman
because holyyyyyyyy I am OBSESSED YOU GUYS! Obsessed! I walk around the gym smiling as I listen to the
songs because I simply can’t help but smile thinking about the movie! And the other is a rap song 😉 haha I love
dirty rap when I work out.

It is the perfect time to set some new fitness goals. I am focusing on two main fitness goals:
1. I would love to be able to do 5 pull ups.
2. I want to be able to do 20 full on (not on my knees) push ups! And yes for those of you who are good at push ups this probably sounds silly ha ha, but I’m so bad at push ups!!!
