DRESS: Dolce & Gabbana / HEELS: Dolce & Gabbana / SUNGLASSES: Dolce & Gabbana / ROSIE’S

DRESS: Dolce & Gabbana // ATTICUS’ SHIRT: Dolce & Gabbana

This was my second look from my style lab series with LUISAVIAROMA! It was so much fun because it was a total throwback to when I was here with David 3 years ago. It was a similar view, similar amazing designer dresses, only thing different now is 2 kids! But it was so much fun to find matching outfits for the kiddos. Rosie is the absolute biggest mama’s girl and will often ONLY take naps while I am holding her like this. Its the sweetest.

I’m wearing this beautiful Dolce & Gabbana dress and you should have seen my face when I saw they had matching baby girl dresses!!!! Even Atticus woke up from his nap in time to put on his D&GFamily outfit. It was the ultimate version of playing “dress up.” Only in Florence, on a rooftop overlooking the Basilica Santa Maria Novella. Ahhh it was amazing! I love moments like this and it will be so much fun to look back at pictures of this when the kids are older.

Hope you’re having a good week.

  1. Love the colors of the pictures! They look so natural 🙂

  2. How cute! My favourite picture is the one of Atticus trying to hide under your skirt. So precious.

  3. These are absolutely adorable!! Love those bright, vibrant colors

  4. Hey Amber
So I teach the young women in my church and have often shown them your blog when they have asked me fashion advice for dates, dances, and so forth. You show that a woman can be a wife and mother while still looking hot and classy. So thank you for that!!

  5. Such lovely photos! I love you, your positivity, and sweet babies!!! ????????????????????????????????????

  6. She mentioned she deleted a lot of the meaner comments so there were some for sure! I just wanted to leave her some positivity because I love what she does and what she is about and it drives me nuts that people have to point out silly things and be rude about it. I was lucky enough to meet her this week and she is just as sweet and genuine as she comes off as on her blog. Just wanted to show her some love amongst the rude comments!

    1. I totally agree with you! I love her blog and she is such a beautiful mom and her family is beautiful. I really look up to women like Amber. I seriously don’t agree with people who do point out silly things. We don’t need any negative nancies here. It’s all about positivity. Amber is a sophisticated and beautiful mommy and I absolutely adore her blog and amazing fashion sense.

  7. I love this shoot!!! I mean who takes pics with their babies with that kind of backdrop?!?! Simply stunning! The neutral toned rooftops with your colorful dresses!! Makes it pop so much! I love how Rosie sleeps on your chest…such a precious moment you’ll remember forever. I love Atticus’ shirt with the doggies! I bet he was ALLL about that with his love for dogs 🙂 I greatly enjoyed these amazing pics – always do and always will! You’re an amazing family!!

  8. Amber, your photos are beautiful. I love keeping up with you and your family! I am so sorry such a beautiful post was flooded with negativity and making people question your business and work ethic. As a new blogger, I’ve realized how difficult content creation is and you make everything you do look so easy and effortless. You truly inspire me, Amber. I hope a little negativity doesn’t get you down. You handled everything like a champ. Looking forward to your next post!

  9. Absolutely adorable!! You are making some beautiful memories with your kiddos:) Also, some of your readers are such haters! They really need to get lives rather than bitching about security tags, your “business practice” , and the views of Florence.

  10. Awe. People really pointed out security tags? I mean, I guess you kinda strike me as a shoplifter. I’m glad they kept you honest (sarcasm). Your babies are beautiful!

  11. Aw Amber, you didn’t have to photoshop out the tags?!?! I didn’t even notice them in the first place. When the view’s this good and the babies this cute who cares about security tags!

  12. Gosh! Amazing! I love your blog and mostly how your kids are apart of your amazing lifestyle. You are a role model to many. I was sick the day you were here in Amsterdam, so sadly I did not get the chance to meet you. But hopefully some day! I am grateful for the inspiration you are to many women. I love reading about your adventures and seeing the beautiful pictures you share with the world. What a privilege it is to be able to see into the lives of amazing women and aspire to that! I hope you know that when people focus on the little things and try to make you feel bad for silly reasons, you are in good company! Good people are often criticized. And negative people will always focus on negativity! Keep on rocking Amber! Love and hugs from Amsterdam! xoxo

  13. How to deal with all the cuteness of Atticus and Rosie?!
I am sorry Amber, they will always steal the attention. ahahahaha

    p.s.: really beautiful dresses! X

  14. i literally cannot find the tags. what in the world are these ppl thinking. they seriously had had to try pretty darn hard to find those tags! I’m huffing and puffing and rolling my eyes here. some ppl are just unbelievable.

  15. I love matching my daughter, I think it makes such sweet memories! Now I just need to figure out how to get D&G dresses for us!! These are my favorite of your Style Lab photos so far. ????

  16. What tags? All I can see is jealousy. The worst personality trait!
Perhaps looking for a flaw made these people feel better about themselves. If Atticus was uncomfortable either in the clothes with the tags or while he was asleep as had been implied the trick we’re all Missing is that the kid has amazing acting skills and is destined for the stage! He looks way to happy to ever be a question about his comfort. Beautiful photos shame about people’s attitude. Xx

  17. Your family is so beautiful! I love reading your blog and following along your adventures on Snapchat and Instagram – you are one of the most down to earth, relatable mums! Can I ask where Rosie’s little hairbow is from? It’s so cute!

  18. Rosie is so scrumptious! These photos make me long so badly for the days when my teenagers were babies. People always used to tell me to enjoy every moment because it goes by so fast. I’m so glad I was with them for every moment, as you are too.

  19. Oh my goodness, Rosie in these photos ???????????? I could eat her up! Gorgeous momma and beautiful babies. Such a sweet little family

  20. I hate to see so many negative comments over something so petty. I have never once heard or seen Amber claim to be perfect or have the perfect family or perfect blog posts, so claiming that the security tags (which I didn’t see despite looking for them in each picture) are too distracting doesn’t make sense to me. Viewers should be focused on the content of the pictures; not the potential mistakes in them. Whether or not Atticus slept in the tags (he didn’t by the way 🙂 ) shouldn’t effect how you view Amber. Amber, your family looks beautiful and happy during this photo shoot. These pictures are to die for as usual!

  21. Beautiful pictures! Don’t worry about the judgments of others. You all look happy and that’s all that matters! The location and clothing just add to the beauty of your family! 🙂 Love seeing your posts from all the places you all travel. Can’t wait to see more! It’s great seeing how you travel with kids and will be so helpful to me once I have kids!

  22. You are lovely. Your children are beautiful. People judge out of jealousy. Atticus looks so happy, as does Rosie. You’re a great mother and giving your Children such incredible experiences. Keep it up!

  23. wait- when were you there? I just got back from Rome tonight and I was in Florence before! Looove that town 🙂

  24. These photos are beautiful. I don’t see the tags any where and people are outrageous for even questioning it.

  25. These photos are SO precious! Your trip looks like it was absolutely incredible!

  26. Tags showing or not…. these photos are so pretty! Loved your snap, glad you didn’t shoplift haha. Didn’t even notice the tags!

  27. Those outfits are incredible!!!!!! ???????????? what a dream. Beautiful pictures too. Thanks for sharing! I get so excited for your posts. Cheers to you! ????

  28. It’s gorgeous! I love your sweet baby cuddles. And I absolutely love how happy your children always are. I can tell you are a great mom! I would have never noticed security tags. Great job on everything!

  29. Loved the dress and the look! I didn’t notice the security tags, if I had noticed them I would have known the clothes were loaned for the photo shoot. That would have been AmAzing if they let you keep that beautiful dress.

  30. Your snapchats about the tags made me laugh so much Amber, you’re hilarious! You certainly do not sound like you have a bad attitude 😉 You handle criticism so incredibly well, it’s definitely something I need to learn from you! Your matching dresses and A’s cute little outfit are just so lovely, you all look very dapper!

  31. Beautiful dresses! Great choices, Amber 🙂 Keep up the good work and I encourage you to take more pictures WITH security tags so I can sit back, stalk your comment feed, and check for trolls who care about that stuff haha… Great entertainment 😉

  32. Great pictures! Your family is so amazing and you really raise your kids the right way. 🙂

  33. I’m obsessed you have a beautiful family and these memories are beyond amazing! Do you girl, do you!

  34. I’m dying to see these tags that were “stabbing” ur babies! ???? Too bad they were taken down! People are strange!!!!!!!!???? Love following you guys! And love David’s new YouTube channel!

  35. I’m dumb and can’t see tags, lol. I just see a hella cute fam!

  36. You look gorgous! And I didn’t even notice the tags so don’t worry!! I love reading your blog as always!! Have a great weekend!!

  37. I’ve looked at these photos, maybe 50 times and cannot find the security tags everyone is talking about. Haha!! Maybe you took the photo down, but omg why does it matter?!? You should not have to explain yourself to anyone, even if Atticus did sleep on a tag (I know he didn’t), why does it matter!!

ANYWAY, beautiful photos and what an amazing experience I bet you had! You and Rosie are just the cutest in matching outfits!

  38. Security Tags??? They are gorgeous photos and your children are just adorable! People like to try and ruin things they can’t have! They are all just jealous! Love seeing pictures of your beautiful family????

  39. Rosie is absolutely gorgeous!! Love the outfit choice. CaliAlly.com

  40. Love you Amber! You are my favorite blogger and always wear the prettiest outfits (& the most adorable braided hairstyles)!

  41. I’ve tried and tried but I can’t even see the security tags! It’s a shame that people are making such a big deal out of it!

  42. Wow people are so crazy, who even cares that you can see the tags?! Pretty sure Atticus has better things to do than hide tags for a shoot, and why does anyone care what your child sleeps in lol?!
Your family is so beautiful, you don’t need to justify a thing. Thanks for sharing these photos Amber! 🙂

  43. My sister and I had the privilege of meeting you and your husband last night in Gilbert, and I just wanted to say thank you again for taking the time to do a meet up! That was so selfless of you guys! Also you, your kids, the clothes, and the views are all breathtaking in this post! You guys are awesome and don’t forget that! 🙂

  44. Amazing!! looks like pure genuine happiness!!! Loves loves loves!!
    xoxo

  45. Oh Amber, the fact that you have to clarify such silly things is insane! Why can’t people play nice? Your pictures are as beautiful as ever.

  46. Sweetheart, you were in Florence and wearing Dolce and Gabbana. People are going to be jealous. People are miserable. You are amazing. Keep doing what you’re doing because it’s working for you. ❤️

  47. Amber those photos are legit stunning! You and Rosie’s matching outfits are the most adorable thing ever. Just saw your snaps, and just wanted to spread some love! Your family is so beautiful, you must be so proud <3

  48. You guys are so freaking beautiful! Florence looks like such an amazing place to vacation and I totally wish I had the time to go. FYI, I didn’t even notice the tags until I scrolled down to the comments section. And the tags weren’t even bothersome and didn’t take away from the shoot at all. Some people can be such Debbie Downers ???? Anyways, don’t let the negative comments brings you down Amber! Such a beautiful photo shoot and I’m looking forward to more posts ????

  49. K seriously? Why were people so rude/ weird about the security tags!? Who even cares? You’re clearly a good mom and even if he slept with something with a security tag on it (like you said, he did not), I am 100% sure he would be JUST fine haha This shoot was gorgeous and such an awesome collab you got to do! You all look perfect!!

    xo

  50. Amber you look gorgeous and your kids too, pay no mind to negative comments you know your thing your really good at it.

  51. I’m from snapchat, just wanted to spread some love! You look gorgeous as always & I love these dresses! Florence is beautiful and one of my favorite places I went to in Italy!

  52. You’re simply the best one! Probably you know me because I’m always saying the same but it’s true. You’re an inspiration for me and I’m sure that to lots of other girls! Never change!!!!! ????

  53. Hi Amber, I just wanted to say that I love this post, and your family. I love following you so, so much. I just watched your snap story, and wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you in how you hold yourself and how you handle negativity. You are so humble and would never say anything bad about anyone in any situation. This is one of the main reasons I love following you, for the person you are. Sorry if I’m being cheesy lol I just seriously love you and your sweet family!

  54. So beautiful !! I’m going to Florence next year and this gets me super excited, it looks beautiful !! Your kids are the cutest !!

  55. These pictures are beautiful!! Do you have a tutorial for the braid on top of your head? It is SO gorgeous, and love your sunnies!! <3

  56. Why didn’t you guys just photoshop off the security tags? It makes the whole shoot look shady.

    1. I didn’t even notice! The shoot was with LUISAVIAROMA. They had me go into the store and select photos to wear only for a photoshoot, I didn’t get to keep them and that is why the tags are on. They do this with bloggers twice a year, I am sure you have seen other bloggers do it and same thing we dont get to keep the clothes they are used like a stylist would use clothes for a shoot! Unfortunately it was harder to hide the kids tags.

  57. Gorgeous clothes, gorgeous views, gorgeous babes! If someone took pictures of me and my girls in such a gorgeous setting and pieces, I wouldn’t even care if they had security tags on! I don’t think 99% of the people commenting on this post would object either ????. Be proud girl, your an amazing momma!

  58. I didn’t even notice the security tags until i read the comments, What a nit-picky thing for people to get caught up on. haha The pictures and outfits are beautiful! I’d love to get matching dresses for my little girl and I. SO cute!

  59. First thing I noticed was (unfortunately) the security tags! What is up with that? They detracted from the beautiful photos overall.

    1. Unfortunate that with the views of Florence and gorgeous pieces that is all you saw!

      1. In all fairness the only views of Florence shown here are roof tops…. Blurry roof tops.. You really didn’t need to be so rude to her especially since it was an observation made and she did compliment your photos overall….

        But ok.

        1. I didn’t feel that I was being rude but sorry if it came off that way! Thanks for reading!

  60. Gosh! Atticus must be a super sleeper to nap with a security tag on his pants! Great pics, but unfortunately the tags are a little distracting…

    1. He didn’t sleep in the pants. He slept in his own clothes and changed into these for the shoot. Thanks!

      1. Well I’m sure you can understand my confusion as you said he “woke up from his nap wearing his lil D&GFamily outfit.” Thanks!

  61. You’re lucky! My son will only nap in a super soft onesie! Forget jeans or tops with plastic security tags poking at him!

    1. haha I thought the same thing…did she have him sleep in a shirt with the plastic security tag on it???

    2. He didn’t sleep in those clothes but changed into them after he woke up.

    3. Love this post, matching dresses are adorable. Rather sad that even though you have explained the reason for the security tags, people cannot look beyond it. Love your blog Amber 🙂

  62. Oh my gosh, I loved this, the hair, the dress, Rosie’s perfect little pout, Atticus and his adorable outfit and his gorgeous hair. You certainly are blessed with a beautiful family, but I gotta say, the highlight for me was those shoes! I loved those shoes. Instant shoe lust. Thank you for posting these gorgeous photos! They always make me want to get up, dress for the day and wrangle the kids outside. Here in Alberta the weather is unpredictable, but that’s part of the fun.

  63. I love the print on the matching dresses you both are wearing!!! So beautiful. Reminds me of hand painted dishes my grandmother and mom have had in their house in my home (Czech) for years… I love wearing matching outfits with my 16-month old daughter. We have a couple of dresses and pants and it’s just the cutest. I could just dress us alike every day :-). You two look adorable! Love, Maggie

    1. The shoot was in partnership with LUISAVIAROMA and we did not get to keep the clothes. They had to keep the tags on.

    2. LUISAVIAROMA had us wear the clothes and we did not get to keep them.

  64. How beautiful you are girls! Little Rosie is so sweet and how blissful it must be for you to feel her being so confident that she falls asleep on you. I loved it when my kids did it. My youngest is 19 months and it’s only if she is knackered that she would fall asleep on me but I will always treasure those moments. The dresses are so amazing and you look terrific. I think I would love one day to have my 2 girls dressed like me – although I realise that they are often dressed in similar clothes as mine – it would be so much fun for a special occasion! Beautiful photography from David, as usual. Love from London, Julie (French mama of 3)

  65. You and Rosie are the ultimate models for D&G family, it’s as if you just walked off the last runway D&G did with mamas and babies!

  66. Gorgeous! You all look so good. And the pictures are stunning 🙂
