DRESS: Mara Hoffman / BAG: Prada / SUNGLASSES: Le Spec / FLATS: Zara (old) / NECKLACE: Capwell & Co. / LIPSTICK: MAC ‘Coral Bliss’

The first time I went to The Whitney Museum was when Frank Stella had his exhibition and it was FABULOUS!!! I love the Whitney Museum because it has soo much natural light and on every level you can go outside and see gorgeous city views. I also keep meaning to take Atticus to their art classes that they have on weekends. Stephanie and I went to go explore the museum last week and I wore this cloud dress that I love love love! I have always loved Mara Hoffman, she has such fun prints and her runway shows are always a blast because there are all of her kids and nieces and nephews front row!

Remember how just a few weeks ago I bought my first designer bag? Well, warning – once you buy one you can’t stop!!!! I made the mistake of perusing the Prada section at Sak’s and walked out with this beauty. But I love that it is big enough to be a “diaper bag” (I need to get liners!) but will also go with everything. I am always tempted to buy the bright yellow or hot pink or floral bag so I forced myself to get a neutral and I am so happy I did!

  4. Hi Amber! Sorry I have not commented in a while… every post has captivated me, and with so much to take in… where do you begin? I suppose I enjoyed the various views of Ireland and realizing it is not all clover and leprechauns and idyllic meadows, but the variety of the land and the life and history… some of my very favorites. I had to comment on this breezy post (although I want to be buried in the Met in the sculpture atrium I have never found museums “breezy,” engaging, enlightening and inspiring on so many levels, yes, but breezy…no) to point out two commonalities we both have and that is a mutual love of Frank Stella. Secondly, besides charm and wit given diverse situations, I have never found the blog particularly “funny.” The image shot overhead of you, head tilted as to say… “Ok… what am I looking at here… I mean seriously… what is this?” is priceless. Ditto. xxxxx

  11. Amber,
I really feel like God has blessed you with a gift to share your journey through life. I love how you are such an inspiration to those girls like myself. My mom has been battling her fight with ovarian cancer and for a long time it has been a struggle to feel pretty about myself or to even want to dress up for work and put on make up … When I check your blog it gives me motivation to want to do something with myself. I love how your so mature for your age and I love how you adore your family. You have such great values in life.
I’m forever hooked on your blog.

  12. What a beautiful dress and shoes!!!! Looks great together and you look stunning! Congratulations on your bag- it’s gorgeous! What liners did you mean you are getting for your bag? I have a brand new Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM that I am using as my diaper bag (my surprise Mother’s Day gift from my hubby!!!!) and am now freaking out about staining it with anything from my daughter’s snacks to sunscreen (God forbid a dirty diaper :-D). Thank you for your advice!!!
