The flights from Greece to NYC were insanely long – like 23 hours travel time so we decided to fly to London and stay a couple days then fly home from there. We stayed right by Big Ben and rode around on the hop on hop off bus all day. I have to say it is one of my favorite ways to see a city. I think they are so fun and convenient. Especially nice with a baby. Atticus was having so much fun on the top of the bus trying to make everyone laugh. He had everyone on the bus cracking up and it was so hilarious.

We ate lunch in Hyde Park and chased all the birds, found the cutest spot for breakfast, took naps, went swimming for hours in the pool at the hotel, went to Tower Bridge, and lots more. It was pretty fun. 🙂

  7. Hi Amber!

I see you guys travel a ton. I am traveling with my son in a month to Europe and we have a connecting flight, as well as flying to a second city before heading back. How do you fly with baby? The one time we flew I purchased an extra ticket and took my car seat, this is not only very $ but physically crazy to drag it around all over Europe, so I’m wondering how you fly with little man. Thanks!

    1. Hi Masha!! That is exciting you have a trip coming up!! I did a blog post a little while back with 50 tips for traveling with a baby, I will link it below for you to check out 🙂 We usually buy Atticus his own seat and don’t bring his carseat, although, we would bring the carseat when he was younger. The carseat was part of our stroller so we would take the whole stroller and they we would take the car seat part only on the plane, and they would put the fold up stroller part under the plane at the gate 🙂 Sometimes we got lucky when we didn’t buy Atticus a seat and there was an empty seat, but you never know!! I hope this helps!! xo

  8. I totally would have made a stop to London too! ( Always wanted to go there.) Oh my goodness. 23 hours is awful! I went to Africa a few years ago and was ready to snap after 18 hours!! Ever since then, I have been such an antsy plane rider. I can’t sit still after 3 hours now hahaha.

  10. I love your hair! I feel like you always come up with new ways to switch up simple braids to make the final product so pretty and unique! How do you come up with so many new ideas so none of your hairstyles are the same? It always looks really great and I love your headband!

  11. Even though they are predictable the Hop on Hop off buses are fantastic if you only have a sort stay as you don’t waste any time trying to figure it all out. Would be perfect with a bub or small child as they can sit and enjoy the ride, literally hahaha.

  24. I loved London! We went this April and did the bus tour too! Loved it because you can just get on and off wherever there is a stop and I actually learned so much about the city. They told us there’s one for NY too and we’ve liced around NY forever and I never paid attention to it.

You look amazing!! And baby A is so sweet – that pic of him cuddled up and looking all sleepy. Too cute! What a great trip 🙂

    Lots of love,
