^^A’s rosy cheeks after being in the humid room with the butterflies! Love those two.
On Saturday we did a little day date and went to brunch (our favorite meal of the day) at Sarabeth’s and then headed to the Museum of Natural History to check out the butterfly exhibit and it did not disappoint! Sometimes I wonder if Atticus is enjoying activities we do with him because he is still young but he loved the butterfly exhibit and it was so fun watching his eyes move all over the place watching them fly around. I stuck my finger out like an idiot waiting for way too long for one to land on me but one never did until right before we left one landed on my beanie and I heard David say “DONT MOVE!” and my life was made for that day.
We just got to Los Angeles for a project I am working on (you will see tomorrow on insta!) and the plane ride was rough! Honestly Atticus has been such a dream traveler but this 5.5 hr. plane ride was nothing short of brutal haha. It was so hot in there (hellllo usually I am freezing on planes! What is up with a hot plane?!) and he was kind of miserable and just wanted to be a monkey and roll around and play. We were able to get him to take two naps and we snuck in a movie but I still felt like I walked through a battlefield by the end – David says that is dramatic and maybe it probably is but I felt so bad for my little man, his cheeks were so rosy after and you could tell he was happy to get off that plane too! I think we may have to take him to Disneyland to make up for it 🙂
