I am slightly obsessive compulsive with my lipsticks and right now Coral Bliss is my go to and I haven’t really been using anything else! Or I pair it with something (Snob and Candy Yum Yum, both by MAC, are my favorite to cocktail it with) but it is the absolute perfect peach with the perfect mix of color and nude for me (will say it looks more nude in these photos than in real life). I love to wear nude lipsticks (I have a post coming soon with my favorites – I found some really amazing ones recently!) but I hattte wearing them to take pictures because my face looks washed out and since I have small lips they kind of disappear. So you probably will rarely see me on this blog with much more nude than this, although in real life its a different story! Anyways, moral of that rant is that Coral Bliss is the perfect lipstick for Spring and I definitely recommend it!

Now for the outfit.. I absolutely can’t resist capes. I feel like a school girl or something when I wear them and I don’t know why I like feeling like a school girl but I guess I do! They just are so fun and classic in my book.

Hope you all have a good weekend and don’t forget to come and shop my closet Saturday! All details are posted in yesterday’s post so check it out if you want to come! And some of you asked about price points – each blogger will be different but for me personally, I will have prices ranging from $3-$30 ! All my jewelry will be $10 and under and same with most shoes (I sadly have a lot of unworn shoes that I am looking to get rid of before I move so I have less stuff to pack!) Would love to meet you so come on by!! xx

  1. Your outfit, makeup, and hair look stunning– but that goes without saying! I also wanted to let you know that I enjoy your voice and how you write. Your blog is so refreshing! You’re honest and provide personal detail. You could totally get away with just posting your look and a quick sentence but I LOVE how you go beyond that. It sets you apart from other blogs that are just like, “I went to dinner with my husband and it was super fun! What did you do this weekend?” You’re drop-dead gorgeous and one-of-a-kind!!!

    1. Aw thank you Maya that means so much to hear!! You are so sweet for taking the time to tell me that! xoxo

  2. I love the idea of layering colors! I’ve actually done it with nail polish because I don’t have very many colors and it’s worked really well most of the time.

I love your blog! I’m hoping to find someone to come down to the shop your closet thing. I think it’s a genius idea.

  3. While this isn’t particularly relevant to today’s post, I just wanted to say a big Thank You! A long time ago, you posted about deep conditioning at home, with the whole “hair dryer, in shoe, in the sink” trick. My sister bought an AWFUL conditioner for red heads, and after using it, I discovered it had taken my naturally red hair and turned it into a horrible shade of Flaming Hot Cheeto. My stylist told me to use some clarifying shampoo and wrap it up in plastic and blow dry it for some heat. As soon as she said that, I immediately thought of your post, and here I am, typing this, sitting under my hair drying that is put in my Nike. It is a fantastic trick, thank you so much!

    1. Haha I love it!!!! Honestly its like the silliest trick ever but so handy, I honestly do it once a week! You are so cute for telling me that it totally made my day, hope it worked good for ya! Oh and sorry about the cheeto hair :/ did it fade at all?!

  4. Love your sense of style! I love the jeweled collar with the cape! Wish I lived closer to visit this weekend and shop!

  5. Love the look with the cape. You look beautiful.

Hope you have a great start to your weekend. Happy Friday!
    Love,
    Sofia

  8. I went to purchase coral bliss at my MAC store and they were out so I settled on Shanghai Spice and a reallllly love it. It’s worth checking out!

Would you consider listing any of your pieces you don’t sell this weekend online?

    Lizz

    1. They are always out of Coral Bliss!! I had to order mine online! But I bet Shanghai Spice is pretty, I will have to try that! And I actually ended up donating everything I didn’t sell, but there will be plenty more to come and I will see if I can post them online! 🙂

  9. I absolutely love this cape and the way you styled it – so classic! Coral Bliss is such a pretty color on you – I may need to try it 🙂
