I have always loved all things baseball-ish, in clothing that is. I always loved when my dad would take me to baseball games just so I could wear a cute sporty get up. Baseball tee’s have always been a favorite of mine for casual days and so I obviously had to get this dress, especially since it can be worn with or without a baby bump! Speaking of which.. I am 35 weeks on Tuesday and I feel like I am in the final countdown! So crazy – I kind of hope these last few weeks fly by even though everyone keeps telling me to enjoy my time – I am just so antsy!

Hope you all have a good Monday!!! And don’t forget to enter the Fashionphile giveaway! :)

Okay seriously pregnancy is beginning to drag on a bit too long haha I swear it needs to be seven months instead of nine.. nine is just too many months to be pregnant! Pregnancy is like unto the longest Christmas Eve imaginable… gimme my baby already!

Anyways, I have always been such a hat girl and love my sun hats so so much. A sun hat in every color is an absolute must for me! They are so great with a t shirt and jeans, a swim suit, a dress, they just make it all better! Its my dream to one day go to the Kentucky Derby and wear the most extravagant hat anyone has ever seen :)

Have a good Wednesday and stay tuned for a fun giveaway with Fashionphile.. we are going to give away an amazing designer bag to one of you! :)

David got me this dress forever ago and I have worn it so much I am shocked I have yet to post it on the blog! I brought it to Europe when we went for six weeks and it was a regular for me. It is just such a simple dress that goes with booties, flats, heels, anything. Unfortunately this exact one is no longer available but below I listed some similar styles!! A plain black midi is always a must!

Hope you guys all had a good weekend! Ours was pretty relaxed, we have been trying more restaurants and food trucks that we haven’t ever been to and it is my new hobby! We are obsessed with the Art City Donut food truck… they have mini donuts that are amazing. And we also love the Pico Norte food truck – they have thee best tacos. If any of you know of any other good ones in Salt Lake tell me! I am trying to try them all before we move!

Have a good day! xx

I cannot even explain how in love I am with this tee! Its the comfiest thing and I can’t stop wanting to wear it – I literally am going to go get it in another color just because I wear it that much. I love baseball looking tees for casual looks because I prefer being comfy and casual any day of the week.

I am now 29 weeks pregnant and I cannot wait for this baby to come out holy moly. It seems like everyone is pregnant right now to me.. I can name 13 girls off the top of my head who I know personally. Its crazy its totally baby season and the more I see my friends having their babies the more I want my day to come! Eek it is like Christmas. I keep telling David how I want to pack my hospital bag and put the car seat in the car just because I can’t wait haha. Its like when I was little and was so excited for a vacation I would pack weeeeeks in advance. Anyways the point of me bringing that up was to say that yes these are regular jeans I have been wearing (a lot of you had been asking in emails), I have been wearing one of those bands to hold my pants up. A friend gave me one so I am not positive wear you buy them but they are so fabulous! I am still planning to get maternity jeans but I just haven’t yet for some reason.

Hope you all have a good day! xoxo

Fishtail Wrap Around Tutorial

This sweater is another favorite color combo of mine (blush pink just goes so good with anything!) and I also have a slight obsession with anything Jenni Kayne. Her pieces are so fab and are all made so well.

I wore this fishtail combo a lonnng while back and finally made a tutorial on it! I was sort of just experimenting with braids one night at Fashion Week in 2012 and randomly came up but it really does give your fishtail an extra little something so if you want to learn a new little trick then watch! And if you recreate it, be sure to tag me in your insta (@amberfillerup) I love to see your pics! Anyways, hope you enjoy and be sure to switch to HD for better quality! :) (watch, here, or scroll down)

I love casual outfits and this black shirt is such a basic – it is soo so soft and super lightweight so its perfect for spring. I have been trying to wear regular (non maternity) clothes so that you guys can still get outfit ideas! So these jeans are regular jeans, I just have a literal bungie type thing holding them up for me haha. I really haven’t wanted to buy any maternity jeans because I hate that I wouldn’t wear them post baby! Maybe that is crazy of me but for now I will stick to my bungie method.

Below is a tutorial I made for this hairstyle.. it is super quick and easy but I love it for days I am in a hurry and still want to have a cute/different style. I basically just show you how I do the braid and how I do my beachy waves and what products I use, so check it out below! xoxo

Dressing the Bump

Barefoot BlondeBarefoot BlondeBarefoot BlondeBarefoot BlondeBarefoot BlondeBarefoot BlondeBarefoot BlondeBarefoot BlondeDRESS: Nordstrom // BOOTIES: Nordstrom // HAT: Forever 21 // LIPSTICK: NARS ‘Heat Wave’ // BAG: Celine via Fashionphile

First I wanted to say here is the direct link for the dress I wore in yesterday’s post! I didn’t realize it wasn’t a direct link earlier so wanted to share for those who asked, and it is also 60% off!!

And now onto this bump – so I am 24 weeks now and it is getting really hard to hide it! Not that I want to hide it because I actually love having this bump sooo so much but I hate that in between stage where people look at me funny so I am hoping I am finally past that and can finally dress this bump of mine! It only took six months haha I blame being so tall and having wide hips for that!

Anyways, I lovvve this dress.. I saw it online and it had such good reviews so I had to get it and I love that it has two layers to it so it kind of hides some flaws ;) and it is the perfect length! I will definitely be ordering it in black as well. Oh and it is not a maternity dress, I am just wearing it like it is!

Have a good weekend everyone!! xoxo

I am so so happy to be back home with my dog and husband! I felt so bad leaving my dog because David works all day so I hate knowing he is just at home alone while I am gone – usually we are cuddling and playing all day! So my first day back I felt way too bad leaving him for a shoot and brought him along :) would have brought David too if he wasn’t working!

Thigh high boots and booties have been my go-to so when I went to go grab some knee highs I realized I didn’t have any besides some old ones that are literally years old and super worn out so I got these Steve Madden ones, they looked like the Isabel Marant knee high boots only with a MUCH better price tag and I absolutely love them.

I seem to not wear ponies that much unless my hair is dirty because they just are so blah to me, so this was a fun way to spice up my pony and make it fun. This is day seven for me in using the TRESemmé 7 Day Keratin Smooth System as part of my hair diary during NYFW, my hair was manageable for yesterdays style but is due for a wash now and it was perfect timing for a pony.

P.S. dont forget to check out yesterday’s post, I was super late in posting it so in case you missed it, its down below!

Barefoot Blonde

Barefoot Blonde1. Pull hair into a high pony tail. Spritz the crown with TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray and then brush out all the bumps making the pony as sleek as possible.

2. After securing the ponytail with a ponytail holder, take a small section from the bottom of the pony and wrap around the rubber band and secure with a bobby pin.

3. Take a small, clear rubber band and secure the ponytail about two inches from the base and pull hair to create a nice lift in that section.

4. Mist pony with TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Illuminating Shine Spray for added shine throughout the whole hair.

Hey you guys! I hope you like the new website! It has been a lonnng work in progress and was supposed to be done a long time ago but I am glad it is finally up! For the next 24 hours or so there may be some bugs, it seems there always is with new websites so if something isn’t loading please try again later or tomorrow!

Also you can now subscribe! I am sorry it has taken so darn long but make sure you put in your email so you can get posts emailed to you as well as a monthly newsletter! If it says you already subscribed it is because I was able to upload some emails of people who had previously subscribed on my last system but not everyone.

And about my post today.. I totally tried to dress up my bump you guys but turns out it just looks like I am bloated haha. But luckily these Helmut Lang pants still fit me because they have a stretchy waist band which I love! Especially since I can’t zip any of my other pants at this point :) cannot wait for this baby to grow!

Hope you guys all have a great Monday!! xx

Leopard on Leopard in Annecy

I have been trying to learn French (I took some classes but only remembered how to order food haha) and since I have started again I can’t stop thinking about Annecy! Its seriously my favorite place on the planet and I day dream about owning a house on the lake there one day. I never shared these photos we took there and figured I would share them now because the scenery is amazing and I hope all of you get to go visit here one day. The dress I am wearing is actually sold out.. but the link above links to some of Torn by Ronny Kobo’s amazing pieces.

I only curled my hair once the six weeks we were in Europe and so these dutch braids were a staple for me. It is the perfect do for when you are in a rush and dont have time to curl or even wash.. it hides the grease pretty well… I would know :) I made a tutorial on how I do these, even though it is simple, I do have a couple things I do differently so I will share that when my new site (just BFB but updated) finnnnallllly launches. Hopefully in the next couple weeks, I am crossing my fingers! Hope everyone has a good Wednesday and thanks for reading! oxox

I am absolutely in love with trumpet skirts and dresses this Fall and I decided to pair this black one with my favorite blouse from The Dreslyn. The fabric is to die for and I always hang it at the front of my closet because I think it is just too pretty!
