My Favorite Things : Children’s Books

My Favorite Things Volume 6 : Children's Books

I am doing my Favorite Things series today instead of tomorrow since my schedule changed! Today’s our favorite kids books right now! My kids get obsessed with books and ask to read them over and over again so these are the ones my kids are currently really into. I love to read to them when they are eating a meal or before bed or during “quiet time”. I love finding books that I enjoy too so I don’t mind reading it 100+ times 😉 I really enjoy all of these.

My Favorite Things Sleep Edition

The Day the Crayons Quit is such a fun book and maybe one you guys already have! It is super cute – it is crayons who “quit” and are writing to Duncan to tell him why they quit 🙂

My First Book of Girl Power – This is a really simple read but both Atticus and Rosie can’t ever just read it once they want me to read it 3 times in a row – they love it.

Don’t Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late! There are a few variations of these books and they are all really funny and super fun to read! We also love the hot dog one!

Dragons Love Tacos – this is another popular one you may already have but this is one of my favorites to read 🙂 The kids think it is funny and “scary” and they love to be pretend scared haha.

Mousetronaut – This is a cute one and we basically love anything about astronauts and a book that has a countdown to blast off ha!

Rusty Robot – I picked this one up at Costco while I was there last year and this is an absolute FAVORITE!

Goodnight Train is one of our most read bedtime stories! They never get sick of it.

Pajama Time this is another fun one to read before bed!

If Animals Kissed Good Night .. pretttty much any book with a baby animal my kids GUSH over!

We got the original Pout Pout Fish book and my kids loved it so much I searched to see if they had others and they do! I recently got this other one and it is also really good! The others from the series don’t have as good of reviews so I haven’t tried those yet. I find that reviews are often pretty spot on when it comes to kids books.

The Crown on Your Head – you have probably heard me talk about Nancy Tillman before because I am OBSESSED with her books!!!! I have every single one and the kids and I never tire from reading them again and again and again! They are so sweet and so beautifully written! This one and another below are our two favorites of hers but truly love them all.

It’s Time To Sleep My Love – this is our other favorite Nancy Tillman book – I love it sooo much!

Next To You – full of adorable, baby animals and what more could a child ask for?! lol for real though they lovvvvvve this one!
