January : Podcast & Book Club

I talked about this in 2017 and I got so many positive responses back. So, today I am introducing my podcast & book club. This month’s book will be Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. Feel free to listen to it on audible or read it. We will also be listening to two separate episodes from Oprah’s SuperSoul podcast. The first episode is Mariel Hemingway and Bobby Williams. The second podcast episode we will be listening to is Cheryl Strayed. I have also provided you with a calendar, so you can see when we will be having podcast and book discussions on the blog. You can print the calendar out and use the notes section to write discussion points that you would like to talk about.

Also, please leave your recommendations for books and podcasts we should read and listen to in the future.

See you on the 9th for the first podcast discussion. I will post a new blog post on the 9th and then we can discuss our thoughts in the comments. I am so so excited!

Book of the Month

While reading or listening to the podcasts or book, keep track of your favorite quotes by either highlighting them or even writing them down on your calendar notes. We will be making some pretty graphics with our favorite quotes on them that you can print out and hang as reminders throughout the year.

* It looks like the podcast episode numbers have changed on iTunes, so I have updated the calendar with the actual name of the podcast, not the episode number.
