From city to beach to desert. And we are here to stay so I better get used to it 😉 I do think the desert is so beautiful though even in the dry heat. We just got our season passes to the desert botanical garden – even after growing up in Arizona it was my first time going. It is so pretty! Especially at sunset. Except for when David didn’t see a little chunk of cactus on the ground and stepped on it hahah his poor foot!!! Those little spikes are no joke.

For the last three years we have been living in really humid climates so the switch to Arizona has made my skin feel sooo dry. I found this really great product and embarked on the SK-II #OneBottleAwayFrom journey at just the right time because I needed something to keep my skin hydrated upon moving here. I used to have oily skin and hated it — now I would give anything for oily skin!!! Since my first pregnancy my skin has been suuuuper dry. This Facial Treatment Essence has 90% Pitera which has vitamins, amino acids, and minerals that help to keep your skin even and hydrated. This stuff is known as the miracle water and I heard sooo many good things about it before I tried it so I was really excited to see if it really is as great as people say. I went and got a smaller bottle too that I can take with me when I travel. I’m trying to transition my skin to this Arizona heat and still feel great about my skin. So far this has been amazing and hydrating!

I have been using it morning and night and love love love how my skin feels, I especially feel like my make up looks more dewy when I use it beforehand. You put it on a fresh, clean face and then once it dries you can put serums and lotions on top!

  4. Love these pictures! They have such an ethereal feel to them, with the light in the background and the desolation of the desert. Love it.

  5. I love the SK-II products. I’ve been using them for about 3-4yrs now, skin looks and feels so much better. It can be expensive but if your signed up to loyalty programs and shop around for deals it’s fine!

  6. This product sounds great! When I lived in Chicago in the winters I would have to moisturize constantly and now I live in Southern California where it’s a bit dry too so I’ve been looking for products that can help with dry skin. This sounds like a winner =o)

  10. I absolutely LOVE that product!! I always thought people just said it was amazing because they felt like they had to since it’s so expensive, but then I tried it and have been hooked for the past three years. I swear to you that it drastically reduces my forehead lines and I can’t even imagine how amazing it would feel in the Arizona heat! Don’t you just love how it feels when you put it on, ahh it’s so good!
