MARSHMALLOW FLAVORING Β // SWIMSUIT // COVERUPΒ (a dress by Marissa Webb worn as a coverup) // UMBRELLAΒ // WOODEN BOWLΒ

I have loved making sugar scrubs since early college years! I love to exfoliate – the feeling after when you put lotion on your silky soft skin is just – ugh! Goooood. So I recently got David hooked on using sugar scrubs in the shower too – after the first time he was like baffled how his skin could feel that soft haha πŸ˜‰ so I bought these fun flavorings on amazon and thought we would play around with them. Our first creation is this marshmallow flavored sugar scrub! It is sooo easy (only need three things) and it smells divine. Here is the recipe!

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup olive oil OR coconut oil (I used olive oil. I like mine gritty – if you want it oilier you can add more but start off small)

1/2 cap full of marshmallow flavoring (just the cap that comes on it! you can always add more of this too!)

Mix together! Easy peasy.

I like to mix mine in this wooden bowl that we also use for acai bowls and fruit bowls πŸ™‚

  8. awesome! is there a particular sugar you use? how long will this last for If I don’t use it up right away? thx!

    1. I just use plain granulated sugar so it’s super cheap and easy! And I would say it could last a couple weeks depending on how often you exfoliate πŸ™‚

      1. Amber, do you just leave the open bowl in the shower? I’m wondering how to store it if I have any leftover. I can’t wait to try it!! You give the best tips!! xo
