I am riding in an Uber right now hoping that he just ate a big mac doused with onions and that the smell is not B.O. … yuck. On my way to a meeting this morning and then I have some work stuff to finish up at home and then I am done with work for a couple days!! It has been the busiest few weeks of our lives with the launch of Barefoot Blonde Hair coming this Friday, our move in 8 days, the kids, the blog, etc! But good busy because I am happy about everything that is happening. It has been nice to have one on one time with the kids since I haven’t been able to be around them as much as I would like to. Yesterday when I got home I picked Rosie up and she just snuggled up on me so I went and laid down with her and she just snuggled and then fell asleep on me. It was so sweet and so needed!
The good thing about David and I working from home most days is that if one of the kids is napping and the other isn’t, I can take the one that is awake on a little one on one adventure. Which is always really fun to me. Me and Rosie dressed up and went to the East side to do some shopping. Then we went to the park to see the ducks by Gapstow Bridge and we played in the leaves and just walked and talked 🙂
Lately Rosie has been waking up at 6am which is really really unfortunate haha – we are not morning people. So we make her a new bottle and bring her in bed with us and let her just hang out between us while we try to catch a few extra zzz’s. She recently learned how to give kisses and I was laying there with my eyes closed falling asleep and I felt her lips on mine and opened my eyes and she was giving me a sweet lil kiss! So I smiled and said “thanks!” And then closed my eyes and she gave me another! She kept doing it and it was the sweetest lil moment! So Rosie, as long as you’re stinkin cute like that at 6am I will accept your new wake up call haha 😉
Hope you all have a fun Thanksgiving weekend planned!!!! Make sure to check the Barefoot Blonde Hair site on Friday because all colors will be restocked!! xoxox
