I have been wanting to do more hair how to’s so me and my beautiful friend Maddie brainstormed tons of cute hairstyles and have been working on lots of how to’s! She modeled this one – how gorgeous is her hair? I love this style because you can mix n’ match the style in so many ways. You can do the top as a fishtail and bottom as a braid, the top as a 5 strand and bottom as a fishtail, only do one braid on top and leave the rest down – ya know, you get the point. Here are the steps for this style!

  1. First make a half up and secure it with a clear elastic.
  2. Wrap a little bit of hair around the elastic and secure it with a bobby pin.
  3. Braid the tail of the half up in any braid you want – we did it as a 3 strand braid.
  4. Secure the braid with a clear elastic.
  5. Wrap hair around the elastic to hide it.
  6. Braid the tail of the braid in any style you want – we did a fishtail! Pull the braid apart and secure with an elastic.
  7. Wrap hair around the elastic to hide it.
  8. Done!

    1. Hi Kylnn! Unfortunately we won’t for our initial launch:/ So sorry, but we’re in the process now of finalizing our red color options and are hoping to have them in stock before the new year. Thanks for your suggestion and feedback!

    2. Also wanted to say, if you would show me a picture of your hair on twitter, I can try to make sure we get a shade that would be perfect for you!

  2. Ahhh LOVE all your hair posts! Super excited about your new extensions; I’ve had extensions for a year and do all your hairstyles with them. I volunteer to try yours out and tell everyone about how amazing they are!

  10. So beautiful! How do you think the Aesop hair shine compares to Moroccan oil? I love Moroccan oil…not sure if I’m ready to make the transition! xx

  11. Love this hairstyle!! I wish I had the hair to do this! Maybe in a couple of months when it gets long enough 🙂
I noticed you don’t have a wedding band or engagement ring on, I was wondering if you take it off to be cautious while doing certain activities?
You have the cutest little lifestyle and family!

  12. Love this hair tutorial! Thank you so much for keeping up with them! I loving new styles!

  13. How do make sure you hair stays smooth and soft? I have found the more heat and products I use, the more breakage and dryness I have in my hair.
