Black and Tan Basics

I have been loving this new mom life – it is seriously the greatest. Little Atticus will probably be tagging along with me in my posts for a little since I am still not ready to leave him and probably won’t be for a lonnnnng time. I also figured it would be fun to share some random things along the way that I have loved while being a new mom in addition to my outfits, like that white baby blanket and giraffe pacifier – honestly that blanket is the best! We ordered two more because its sooo soft and so easy to swaddle with.

I have mainly been wearing casual outfits since I just wanna be comfy when we are out and about and I haven’t yet mastered the whole – balancing in heels while carrying a car seat – thing. So I pretty much live in flats and I save my nicer looks for when I go out and David is with me and can carry the car seat :)

Have a good day everyone!

I keep reading a lot about swaddling…but I remember my sisters kids both hated it…as they prefered their arms uncovered…..but they were both *wiggliers!* ;))

You look lovely!! This was basically my go to look for long grad school seminar… except I wore differed colored trousers as everyone at St. Andrews (Scotland) loves colored trousers haha. Love those earrings!! Antique gold earrings is actually a trend in Indian, so I had my aunt send me a few from there!

Stop it! Your body looks amazing. What is your secret? How on earth do you bounce back that quickly after having a child?

What did you do with your “baby belly”? Every woman that I know has one. You look terrific after just having a baby and speaking of baby …he is adorable!

Aww, you guys look so content and happy! I looked nothing like that when I started off in Mom – life. Are you using a belly bandit or similiar to bind your abdominal muscles back together? I plan on getting one for after the birth of my second in the beginning of September.

    Keep up the good work!

I totally do the same thing in regards to wearing flats + heels! I wear flats when it’s just me because of the whole carseat thing, and then I’m able to wear heels when my husband is around, as he can carry the carseat.

I just got a Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag. What do you think of it so far? I love how it looks and I think it’ll be great, but I worry that it might be a little small so I thought I’d ask what you think so far.
