I haven’t shared any personal photos in a while so figured I would share some pictures from our day at the park just the other week! It was the perfect day, probably my favorite day in a long time. And I promise I was having more fun than I look in a lot of these pictures haha we didn’t take a lot, only a few and for some reason David kept catching me when I wasn’t smiling :)

These jeans are probably the most worn thing I own.. I am not kidding when I say they are so comfy. They have the perfect amount of stretch where they are stretchy yet somehow don’t stretch out. Its quite fabulous. So if you need a pair of black jeans these are them.

I know I told some of you that the tutorial would be up yesterday but I swear every time I try and get a tutorial up, something goes wrong! I have the worst luck with making videos, it is so not my thing! But I promise it is filmed and just needs to go up so it will soon (hoping by the end of the week). If anyone has any recommendations on programs to use other than iMovie it would be greatly appreciated, iMovie seems to always freeze or have bugs for me.

Hope you have a good day!! xoxo

  1. Hi! Off topic question but what app do you use on your Instagram videos in order to speed them up really fast?

  2. Adobe creative cloud is awesome. I use the film editing program Adobe Premier Pro. There is a monthly $20 membership fee. But seriously it’s the one most professionals use, and you can do so much with it.

    1. Oh so good to know!! Thanks so so much I am going to look into that! xx

    1. Thanks!! And yeah they are such a classic that you can always throw on to run errands and be comfy! xx

  3. Love these photos! Your lipstick is amazing. Loving the bright pink!

  4. I love checking your blog, it has honestly become a morning ritual! Love that you take the time to actually respond to your readers as well. This casual look is the cutest!!

    1. Aw thank you so much!! That means so much to me! I love getting to chat with you girls :)

  5. Beautiful pictures :)

Besides iMovie, Final Cut Pro is a good program for video editing. It takes a bit to learn (there’s some great YT tutorials), but offers a lot more than iMovie. Or you could use both!

    1. Thanks so much and thanks for the recommendations.. A couple other people have emailed and said to try Final Cut Pro so I am thinking I will try that! We will see how it goes :)

  6. I have an off-topic question for you. I noticed in all your pics that Chauncey is always off leash and seems to be really good at staying with you guys and not running off. Did you guys recall train him when he was a puppy (train him to come when called)? Or was he always just good at staying near you guys?

    1. Yeah we never use the leash! We started training him to stay next to us since he was really little. It was hard at first but we used treats to get him to do it and now he is really good at it. When we say ‘heel’ he knows he needs to slow down and wait for us and he is good at listening to his name being called to! Best to start young I think but dogs learn quick so never too late!

  7. So cute lady!! You look adorable! What a sweet little family! I use iMovie too and have issues, but a lot of them were resolved when I made my mac so it didn’t fall asleep so long as the screen stays on while movie is loading to youtube it usually works for me! I don’t know if thats the issue your having but if so, hope it helps!!
