I decided to take the day off from Fashion Week craziness to wear my Sorels and just explore the city and find yummy treats and I couldn’t help but finish the day with this view and a really pretty skirt. Ty and I went up to the top of Rockefeller Center to see this pretty view and of course had to sneak some pics in. This is my new all time favorite tee because it has thee cutest fit and is so unbelievably soft!

I wore pin curls today and am still going strong with my smooth hair after using the TRESemmé 7 Day Keratin Smooth System – these were taken right after my hair had been in snow fall which usually makes my hair unbelievably frizzy. My curls went a little more flat but my hair didn’t frizz at all.

Here is a step by step of how I curled my hair:

CURLING IRON: NuMe

1. Section off hair and clip top sections up, leaving a two inch bottom section to begin curling.

2. Curl hair away from the face with a 1-inch curling iron. After each section, wrap the curl up and pin it in place. After that section let down another two-inch section and curl away from face, etc.

3. Take out pins and brush through the hair with a paddle brush for softer waves and hair spray with TRESemmé TRES Two Freeze Hold Hairspray.

  1. What type of curling iron do you use? I’ve spent years straightening my hair and you’ve inspired me to try to curls.
