 DRESS: Small shop in Florence

SUNGLASSES: Prada

BAG: Chanel via Fashionphile

FLATS: Yosi Samra

LIPSTICK: MAC ‘Russian Red’

Florence has the most amazing little shops with the best finds. There were a million things I wanted to buy but ended up only getting this simple red dress :) I wore it for a day on the town with David that we pretty much solely dedicated to eating desserts and vintage shopping.

And I am sure you noticed David’s handle bar mustache? When I met him he had a mustache and I thought it was so cool so I always try to talk him into having one and he finally shaved one on this trip!

Also, I have the ShoeMint giveaway winner! The winner is, Natalie Renee Cooper! Please email me when you see this :) And don’t forget to enter the giveaway for a $150 gift card to Spa Trouve!

Hope you guys have the best weekend – thanks so much for reading – I absolutely love all of my sweet readers! xo

You look adorable wish my hair looked cute in braids!! How do you wear red lipstick or any lipstick for that matter around our hubby? My guy begs me not to put it on and if I put it on he bugs me to take it off until I do hahahaha he will even go get the makeup remover for me….any tips?

    • amber October 5, 2013 at 7:19 am Permalink

Haha no way?! I don’t know, my husband actually loves it but if he didn’t I would just say, “okay well I love it, so learn to! haha” I mean I think some things we need to do for ourselves and lipstick is such a temporary thing you know? If my husband were to say he doesn’t like tattoos or even super short hair or something I would of course want to do what he likes best but lipstick just goes on and off so if you love it I say do it!

        Hey Amber!

I’ve been following your blog for the last year and love. You give me such great ideas for looks and hairstyles- especially how to mix up the simply pony with some braids :). I would love to see a pic of the back of your braids for this hairstyle. Do they go all the way around to the other side? How do you have them attached in the back? Thanks!

Aw thanks so much Stevie!! That was so sweet of you! For these I just bobby pinned them separately just below my ear!! :)
