Hope everyone had a good weekend! My husband and I are so excited for the new and last (tear) season of Breaking Bad to start so we started re watching all of the seasons this weekend while eating way too many popsicles and Totino’s pizzas. The show is just as good the second time around :)

Jessica and I had fun exploring SLC this weekend and she introduced me to some new food places and cute shops! I wore this tropical top that I am kind of in love with and actually wore two days in a row this week. I am now crossing all my limbs that this tropical trend doesn’t completely die out.. I have invested far too much haha. Thank heavens for tropical vacations where tropical print is always a must :)

As always, thanks for stopping by! xo

I just started following your blog a few weeks ago. I liked catching up one your old posts. However, I have found your new posts to be boring. They are all the same. Same poses. Same hair-do. Boring.

Well I am sorry you think that! You are probably right that I should switch up my hair more – I have been kind of lazy with it.

Okay so I have a question about hair and all day I was wondering which of my friends could give me good advice because I’m clueless about hair… and then I was Amber is a hairdresser and she comments back to her readers! Lol I’m such a dork but I have this event I’m going to on Saturday but I don’t have money to get my hair done its the same length as yours but its naturally straight so It doesn’t hold curls very well, I heard you should use a styling cream after you blow dry your hair any suggestions on what type of styling creams work well? Thanks in advance love you blog! You probably noticed from all my comments lol I get defensive cause I think your blog is so dang cute plus I can’t stand Catty girls!

    • amber July 16, 2013 at 7:53 am Permalink

Hey girl!! Ugh mine does not hold curl well at all either!! So annoying! The only thing that helps me, is I will spray my entire head with hair spray and then tip my head over and do the same, then brush it out. Then with each section, I will spray that individual section and brush it out, then curl it! It is the only thing that works for me! I have used styling creams but don’t feel they help a whole lot for holding curl, mainly for giving it texture! I love Bumble and Bumble’s styling spray though, if you want to try it! It totally could work for you, its weird how its different for everyone! xx
