One of the benefits of pretty much building Amber’s blog, is knowing all her passwords, having administrative access to all content as well as the ability to make changes. After all, we are husband and wife so there should be no secrets:) Speaking of no secrets, Amber is keeping one from you. She would never advertise this, and she’s asleep right now so there is nothing she can do about it, but today is her her birthday, which is why we are in St Croix! So I just thought you all should know…
Happy birthday sweetheart! You’re the love of my life! I hope you have the best day! I’m so glad that even when you’re 100, I’ll be spending your birthdays with you! Love you!
I am not sure how I was late in the game in finding out about Revolve Clothing.. but it has become my #1 new favorite store. I got this Adidas by Stella McCartney bikini from there and I am in love with it. It is good to have for sportier things you do (or just for the beach in general!) But I got it for when we go kayaking, hiking to waterfalls, fishing, and things like that since it is basically a sports bra you can swim in!
Our second day in St. Croix we woke up early and decided to go find these tide pools we heard were here on the island. We find out where to start the hike and we read it was a 45 min hike. We start hiking…. and hiking… and hiking. After about an hour of hiking up hill in the jungle we realize we have missed something. So we head back down and are almost back to are car and we see a sign.. its literally after 20 steps of starting the hike and its hidden on the right side and leads into even thicker jungle with signs for the tide pools- So we start on the right path and after about two miles it T’s off and you can go right or left… we decided to go right and that was a BAD idea. I am talking we were walking through literal jungle.. vines, endless trees, moss, cob webs, who knows what animals, the whole bit. We got to a point where we could see the tide pools but we were at a cliff and it was almost straight up and down and SO muddy. We decided to go for it and I slid down the entire way on my butt, scratching my arms on tree stumps and rocks the entire way down. I thought I was going to die!!! But we finally made it and it was worth it.
The water here is so blue and everything is SO green! I didn’t boost contrast or brighten or put filters on any of these photos- everything is just that colorful!
Anyways- love you guys and have a fun day!!!
